I liked the way the screen flipped to see yourself recording。 The quality is very good. It offers good color and sharp pictures. We packed and worth the money. This video camera comes with two batteries, it is awesome. The professional microphone works great as well, the sound recorded by this camera is good. It’s lightweight and so easy to carry. Very worth the money!

I have recently started using video as part of my marketing for my business. I wanted a camera that could be set up and left in place for me to film simple videos (Head and shoulders talking direct to camera), rather than having to keep setting up my phone.I thought this camera looked like it had the specs I needed and was excited to get it. However, from the moment I started trying to use it, clearly it is not the same specs as suggested in the description. The video is so noisy! It looks a mobile phone video from a decade ago. I have tried all sorts of lighting conditions, I have researched endlessly on google to find solutions to adjust the settings, none of it has really improved the quality to an acceptable level. It certainly isn't HD.The microphone is passable, but at anything more than 1m it loses quality significantly. When the camera is plugged in whilst recording, there is a constant buss noise over the video.I am very disappointed, but having not tested it as soon as it arrived (I was setting up a 'studio') it is now too late to get a return, making me even more frustrated. A total waste of £80, and now I don't have the funds to buy an alternative.

Poor quality recorder, esp when you use the digital zoom, I sent it back and bought one which has x10 optical zoom, much better. Sound on ext mic was good but didn't try int mic so cannot commentOverall, in my opinion, poor quality

Really good purchase for my channel, good quality audio and picture. Also takes good photos, very light and easy to set up with Tripod and light and mic

Seemed good value, basic budget camera but I wanted it to capture presentations involving the use of PC projector onto a standard screen & a PC onto a TV screen. Both screens in the video just showed as a "bright" block of white light. I tried all the settings but every time nothing. My Mobile phone video captured all the slide images with no problem.

This camera is not worth its money!! My old iPhone makes better videos and has a smoother zoom!! Very very disappointed.The picture quality is appalling, the zoom stutters weirdly which I thought might just be how it’s displayed on the little camera screen itself but unfortunately it was the same on pc and tv. The sound quality is awful too. Even with the microphone voices are really hard to hear. I just wanted something little and easy for when on holiday or family events but I’m sending it back and going to look into one in the shops where I would pick up on general quality straight away.Oh the manual is terribly translated and super basic as well. All in all not a good product at all! I can not see how any of the positive reviews on here could be genuine!

I was looking for a new camcorder for my wifes birthday, since our sony handycam had been having some issues. While looking around I saw the Melcam camcorder with it's little boom mic. This got me interested, especially knowing how much the old camcorder could hear. This one thing alone, with it's ability to pick up sounds, made it worth the decision to buy this camera. It is a very noticeable improvement. It also comes with 2 batteries, which last a good while each.The screen is not a touch screen as our old camcorder is, but it has an easy to use and easy to navigate menu and a basic ring with up, left, down, and right and an OK button in the center. Build quality in general feels solid. It even has a nice Bye Bye message when you shut it off.The zoom is not that great, and becomes kind of grainy at full zoom. Granted, it very specifically states this is for amateurs and not professional photographers. I just checked this to see because I was curious.Basically, this is a 5 star camcorder due to its amazing features that rival competitors, and at half the price. This camcorder is designed to be a great family camcorder, and to be able to save and share those embarrassing memoriesyears down the road. I also have to say that the description seems rather accurate, not overselling or lying. That in itself is really nice to see as well. This camcorder will serve well, as it has throughout some family Easter events already, and I feel like it will probably last us a good while. I will update in ~6 months to see how it is holding up.

Based on my comparison of budget camcorders under 90 dollars, this one takes the cake with a wide range of functions and practical options.Pros: lightweight, versatility with HD video recording and picture taking, intuitive to use and simple set up, fits generic camera screw top mounts and tripods, double battery packs, quality forward mics.Cons: video quality lower than high value cameras, no touchscreen lcd, does not include memory card or tripods/mounts.The camcorder would be a great choice for people looking to do record keeping, work related videos, school or classroom presentations, memo and transcripts, or simple surveillance.

Material issues I had in the first 30 minutes leading to why I am returning the product are below. Amazon should crack down on this vendor to get this crap off of the platform!1) Resolution: Does not appear to be 1080p to me BY FAR, and no way is it 30fps as it is VERY JUMPY2) Quality: In all of my test videos recordings, the audio and video become dissociated with each other... the video plays back at a comical high rate and is way in front of the audio. The audio is also very poor even with the professional & cool looking microphone3) Sensor: It is marketed as 24mp when the documentation in the box says 8mp.4) Web cam: It is marketed as having a web cam function, there is no such function on the camera nor in the user manual

The camera itself is a nice thing. Picture and sound quality are things I can live with, not terrible for an amateur like me making home videos.Loss of 2 stars because of the following:However, having to leave the camcorder plugged in for hours to charge is batter is frustrating. I either need 2 camcorders or really need an external charger for long family events or to teach children the basics of effective filming and editing.

Asked for a cheap video camera for Christmas to make home videos with and this one is about as good as any other cheaper one on amazon will get you! I spent so much time looking at reviews on amazon and getting discouraged with the bad reviews. But I can definitely say for the price this camera does the trick! Decently happy with the picture resolution, battery life and sound. For my purposes of just making videos for memories it works perfectly! If you’re looking for something to use to start a YouTube channel or do something more professional I would recommend spending a couple hundred extra and going name brand because you will be sadly disappointed. But for the price this does what I had expected and I’m pretty happy with it
