The battery set on top of the Propeller shaft. When the motor is running it will touch the battery. The tape is not a good choice to keep the battery from touching the shaft. It is also very hard to hook the batteries for the charger. The charger is very small and could be made much better. I return the boat without putting in in the water.

This boat does not work! I should have suspected that when the package arrived and appeared to have been opened and resealed. Shame on this company! We read the manual and followed directions. The light on the remote comes on but the boat doesn’t move despite having properly charged batteries.

It broke a couple of days after we bought it and can’t return it either...

We bought this as a self righting boat because we would be using it in the bay. It is a fun and fast little boat but it does not self right itself as it states. We have to use it in waters where we can go and retrieve if it flips which is not what we intended to purchase.

Bought this for my sons birthday a month ago and it’s already broken. The original propellor broke and one of the bottom fins has popped off. He’s only drove it in our pool a handful of times. Very disappointing for the price.

Awesome little boat FAST enough for a 5 yr old...grandson loves it, now all his friend's are getting them......excellant value.

Started off wonderful, didn't last but three or four times. It just stopped working. Everything looks good on the inside, connections seem in place just no longer will run.
