Baja DirectMexican Baja Hoodie Sweater Jerga Pullover Green Black Unisex

It is SO nice to finally find a Baja Hoodie with colors that go together well, like this one which is black and forest green. It's unbelievable how many complements I have gotten from people about how great it looks.I've always been a fan of Mexican "Baja Hoodies", but my biggest gripe has always been how they all seem to be made in outlandish patterns. You get an incredibly warm and comfortable garment, but you end up looking like a Mexican! Which isn't a bad thing, but everywhere you go in an American city you stick out like a fly on a wedding cake. People then ask "So where are you you from?" so inevitably you have to decide whether or not to wear your comfortable Baja Hoodie in public. That's why the colors and patterns of these garments needs to change if they are going to be sold in the American market. I would LOVE to see these hoodies made in patterns that are more acceptable to the American market (i.e. argyle, plaid, and popular solid colors). If textile companies just took a sampling of colors seen in American stores around autumn, and then replicated those patterns in Baja Hoodies, they would sell a LOT more of them.One last thing... I have would have given this item 5 stars, except that I had to knock off 1 star for having to spend time with tweezers removing all of the visible white threads embedded in the material. That's another thing about Mexican textiles that needs to change: the machines that do the weaving need to be thoroughly cleaned to avoid having tiny bits of thread from previous runs to accidentally get woven into the material. Once I pulled out all the white bits of thread, my black and green Baja Hoodie looked a-m-azing. I'm definitely going to wear as much as possible from now on. :)

Love this hoodie, so soft. I did hand wash it on cold and let it lay out on table to preserve the thread and still continues to be soft and enjoyable.

This gift was for my boyfriend. He has never owned a drug rug hoodie and had mentioned he'd love to have one. He really liked it. Said it was very warm and comfortable.

This hoodie is slightly more slim fitting than I expected, but not so much that I really minded that the hoodie I originally wore had to be replaced with a new one.

Not made as well as I'd hoped, & lots of loose threads to pull before it's really presentable. Too bad, I've been looking for one of these for quite a while & it's kind of a pain in the butt.
