Wonderful!
I love this game! I bought this since I had lost my old copy years ago and it arrived perfectly. No scratches on the disc and the case was not damaged. However, mines sadly did not come with the original instruction manual. Other than that, no complaints here. Got mines at a great price too. :)

A Longish But Helpful Review
I really like this game. Hardcore, actiony video games always make me anxious so this is a nice mellow change. I LOVE that you can marry Lumina now, in my GameCube version, I could never do that. I only had two issues: One, when I put the game in my PS2, it said that the disc couldn't be read. I was panicking thinking I bought a defective game but really I just needed to dust the inside of my console, so that was really my bad and not the games. Two, this special edition PS2 version doesn't run as smoothly as my GameCube version. It goes super fast at some points, and suuuuper slow at other points. I don't know if it's just my own issues with my console, or if the PS2 version is just that way, but it's probably my own console issues. Other than my own boneheadedness, I have nothing to complain about. The disc had virtually no scratches, and the game came with the booklet and other things still inside. I honestly thought they were just going to send me the game in a paper sleeve but it's the whole package and I was so happy to finally play it.

A Wonderful Life
This is a great game that is for all ages out there. It is a nonfrustrating game that will keep you hooked for weeks. Basicly, you are the new guy moving into this small town with the name of your choice and you get to farm off of the land. The town is quite large but sure not big enough to get you lost. Your house is at the very top of the town with the ocean at the bottom. Infront of your house is a big field, barn, some other buildings and more fields off to the side that you can take over if you want. You do almost everything including cutting, planting and so on to keep your fields shaped up and you have to remember the seasons too. The time in this game goes by like 1 min every second so you have to move fast to do certain things, but it is helpful in others. You can buy many animals, tools, and food to keep your farm well. But the more you have the harder it is. Farming is not the only thing to do either. You may if you want find a girl to marry. There are not to many to chose from but one is bound to suit you. They all have different personalities, looks, ages, and backgrounds. You may talk to them, give them things they want or just please them to make them like you. In their diary it tells how much they like you by the number of hearts. When you get married your house expands and you have a kid. Usually there is much to do to keep you from getting bored in this game, talk to the townsfolk. Go to their houses, there are many strange people and things in this town. So if you want one of those games to play while bored or on a trip. This is it. And if you are wandering, it is almost the exact same as the GameCube version but this has more people.

Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition PS2
In this version of A Wonderful Life, time goes by about half as fast as it did in the GameCube version. The character moves slower, too. At first it was REALLY annoying, but after a while I got used to it. There's not a whole lot of differences between this Special Edition and the regular version, but I liked having a fourth wife option, and the Fertilizer Maker is the BEST part! I hated having to buy fertilizer ALL of the time.

BUY THE GAMECUBE VERSION!
So I absolutely love this game. Unfortunately, when Natsume transferred it from GameCube to Playstation, there is a huge lag. I had played this game years ago on the GameCube and it was great. This version is extremely laggy and dark. Great game, but you need patience to play this version. You're better off with the GameCube version.

A great yet buggy game.
This game has a few differences from the gamecube version. It is rather buggy via slow movements of the characters and the characters speech is out of sync with the mouth movements. You can get a baby girl or boy in this version yippie! You can actually ship crops on your farm.Your farmer's clothes change throughout the seasons. You can sell your goat instead of killing it.Lumina is available as a bride now.The Ruby spice cheat is gone. You can't upgrade the rank of trees via Tarton in the game either.

Brings back Memories
I originally had the gamecube version of this, but this one is better in my opinion. My cousins had this game growing up and they introduced me to the this, been a fan ever since. As an adult now I went and got this, came in on time and was in great condition- even had the manual. I recommend this for anyone who loves RPGs
