These are not the best. Some fall apart during use so need careful attention to the grub screw that holds the collar. Fill with sawdust and need cleaning during drilling sessions. Do not give metric and imperial sizes so calculator needed.

Product is good i.e. puts the hole in the centre so does what it says on the tin - or rather in the bag! The items came loose in a plastic bag - not a good start. The smallest bit had a tendency to get stuck in the spring loaded metal sheath but I guess that could be helped by a bit of lubrication, which I will use next time.

For an amateur Carpenter these tools made fixing the screws, in the hinges, easy and accurate. I recommend then.

These are ok. It pretty much does as it says, ie centres the hole when fixing a hinge. They need oiling before use or the cover doesn’t pop back down and they don’t go very deep. I’m not delighted, but not too disappointed either.

I ordered these Self-Centering drill bits for use on installation of hinges on wooden doors and aluminium windows. There is nothing left to chance now and always I fix the screw where I want them to go. I informed the supplier that on one of them a washer came off and immediately I got a full refund. Highly recommended.

Good price and swift delivery, by 2.5mm is not a suitable depth for a pilot hole! Complete set is useless for the job it is designed for!

Happy with the casing of the product, spring mechanism started sticking after a couple of plunges. Then Sheering itself off inside the collar. Snapped in the door on the 8th go. Disappointing.
