Soleus Dash Large Men's Digital Running Watch

I've only been wearing this about a week now but LOVE the large display. Very simple to set too. I haven't tried it in the shower yet though so I'm not sure how "resistant" it is to water. Also, the numbers are very clear not pixelated like some other digital watches I've had.8-15-16 UPDATE.....I just went to order this watch again. I thought I had it for at least a couple years but am surprised to find out I've only had it for 1 year 5 months and the band just broke. It had started cracking a few weeks ago and now is broken. Other then an inferior watch band I REALLY liked the watch. Oh, and rereading my original post, the watch was very waterproof. Not only have I worn it daily in the shower an all summer in my pool but have also worn it in the ocean and have done several mud runs with it. Never leaked. I haven't even changed the battery yet. Come on Soleus, make the band last a few years at least!

This is my second Soleus Dash, the first one having gotten damaged (my own fault...). Soleus used to make runner's watches for Nike, so if you're familiar with the old Nike Triax watches, you'll feel right at home with the Soleus. Easy to use. Large numerals and data are easy to read, even for those who run without their glasses. Comfortable to wear. Complaints: the beeper/alarm is not loud enough to hear when you're trying to do interval training, particularly on a treadmill. The crystal is a bit too scratch-able. The keeper on the band really doesn't grab like it's designed to, so you'll have to push it in a bit more. But a good-looking and very usable watch.

A good watch for older runners in that the numerals are larger than on most watches. Not quite as good for us senior folks is that the alarms are not very loud. Now this may be caused by a weak battery but in that I just purchased the watch within the past two weeks I would hope the battery is not already failing.

My husband likes the watch but thought the trim around it was silver when actually it looks more white in person. But it works well and is priced well! East to operate.

I have to order it every year because the rubber watch band breaks .but the watch i like.

I wanted a slim, simple watch with interval timers. This one is comfortable and light but not as slim as I expected. It is NOT waterproof. Mine fogs if I wear it in the shower or hot tub. Suprisingly, it has not yet quit working. After a few days the water droplets inside the glass disappear and so far the watch has not died. But for a watch with a 50 meter rating you are supposed to be able to swim with it.

Junk. I am returning this for the 2nd time. Buttons keep jamming. Very difficult to program. Poor build quality. I really don't even want this because I'm convinced it will continue to break, but I am now past the return period and my only option is to get a replacement. They should have replaced it the first time I returned this to Soleus, but they told me that "it works now" and sent it back to me. It worked about 5 times, then I had the same problem.

I bought this as an inexpensive alternative for my fancy, high-end GPS Heart Rate Monitor to keep in the car and use for unplanned runs and training needs. I scanned the instructions once to get started and there's only one function (that I haven't used) that is not really simple to use.Things didn't quite work out as I planned because now I want to use this all the time.

J'ai reçu cette montre il y a deux jours.Je n'en suis pas du tout satisfait.J'ai beau essayer de régler la montre il n'y a rien à faire.Ni le chronomètre, ni l'heure, ni le fractionné ne sont réglables facilement.Elle ne m'est d'aucune utilité.Et le mode d'emploi ne permet pas de comprendre grand chose.A éviter.
