Roller Derby STR Seven Men's Quad Roller Speed Skates

If you just want a comfortable skate for the rink then these should be fine. They were smooth to skate in and don't slide around on the rink. Most of my issues were derby related.If you are looking for skates for derby you should pass on these as there are a few things that were off for me. If you're new to derby I recommend visiting a local skate shop and getting more info and/or fitted for skates. You don't have to buy right then, but they can help you figure out what you should be looking for.Back to this product.-The skates are comfortable, but don't fit as snug as I needed for roller derby.-The trucks (things the wheels attach to and control your turning) came much looser than recommended by my instructors for new skaters and after a couple uses I could hear one of the trucks rattle when I shook my foot which meant it was going to fall off soon. Fortunately you can just tighten those up.-The toe stops are replaceable, but not adjustable. Adjustable toe stops are very helpful in derby unless your toe stops happen to be at the perfect height naturally.

fit very well, comfortable. desperately needs new bearings. I went with rollerbones. wheels that came with the skates were medium softness outdoor wheels.

CONS: toe Stoppers are that cheap hard unusable rubber. purchase sure grip toe Stoppers and replace them. PROS:Fit perfect! Skated in them 3 times at the rink. 100% good starter skates for beginners. Like the design of this skate. The wheels don't slide though which is a bummer. I use speed cream on the bearings. For a $35 skate, they cool.

Great fit and price. Only complaint is the you can feel a vibration in the wheels like they aren't totally round.

I just got them ! I like them so far recommended them to 2 other people. I bought them for myself I wear a woman's 9 and bought a men's 8 and they fit perfectly. I haven't been on skates in years but these definitely are nice. They are a bit heavy but the ride is smooth the bearings seem to be good ones .. the wheels seem to be good quality. Padding inside is great! I think the only thing I'd change is the stopper. That's a easy fix .. I had bought ones when I was a kid and built them. These are definitely a close 2nd.

A decent skate for a good price. The skate boot is good quality. The wheels could use a little more grip and didn't come with a skate tool to loosen the wheels but all in all I give them four stars out of five

Woozers! These skates are smooth and fast. I decided to test out my Christmas present early and wasn’t prepared for the speed I got from them with so little effort. Six minutes of fun resulted in a six hour wait at the ER to treat a dislocated shoulder lol. Totally my own fault for lack of judgement of how rusty I am and how fast the skates are. So my advice for beginners, or people like me; an extremely experienced skater returning from a long break, just take it easy. I love my skates and I will be back on them as soon as I can. I will just be a little more cautious next time.
