Do you need this kit when you buy a nextbase 522gw dash cam ?

Not sure for the 522 specifically but other models come with a cigarette lighter plug to power them. The hard wire kit is not required as such but allows for a more discreet installation and more ease of use as the cam takes power from the fuse box directly. No cable hanging down and turns on and off with ignition.

Is it OK to fit to a Citroen3

Should be, just run the wires around the head liner and down behind the door frame trim then into the fuse box. 20 minutes should do it.

Is it wired to a permanant live or a switched live?

Ideally switched live but that would be down to your preference. If you want your dash cam in all the time then permanent live if you want it on when driving or ignition on the switch live. Most dash cams will turn on if a car is hit but takes few second to load and start recording so near that in mind

Wil this work with the 222x model?

It should be compatible with all nextbase dash cam
