Great Product
Loved this George Forman so much I bought it twice. While moving I broke my first one and I was so upset. Thank goodness I was able to find it again. This grill makes my life easier.

Not as described
The unit I purchased said it brings the top/bottom ceramic grill plates and waffle plate instead of the waffle plate I got some plate that makes sliders. Didn’t get what I paid for which is disappointing. The temp is C not F as shown in photo that’s not much of a big deal. The grill itself is pretty good so far.

I bought one for self and one for gift. It is so convenient to cook on and easy to clean. Food is really good.

Love it!
Nice. Price was fantastic. It is in Celsius degrees (photo showed Fahrenheit, thus the 4 star vs. 5), which threw me off at first-but the front edge has a full list of meats, temps., and time to cook-all in Celsius for those of us who may not want to think about conversion of Fahrenheit each time we use it. Love the digital readout, time/temp and removable ceramic plates are superior to the Teflon type coating my old Foreman had.

Hot looker, messy cooker.
THE GOOD (plus 5 stars): The unit looks great on the counter, the construction is well above average, the cooking temp control w/ sear toggle is very nice (though, I didn't test if the unit actually reached 500 degrees as many reviewers have countered) and the tilt feature is only a plus if you are aggressively watching your fat intake. For me, the wonderful feature is the ceramic non-stick coating! Ceramic products, as opposed to the Teflon products your mother has warned you about for years are becoming ubiquitous and that is wonderful.THE BAD (minus 1 star): The tilt feature, as others have noted is in the far back corner. What makes the tilt feature aggravating is- it is made of plastic and does NOT toggle very well, to the point where you feel like your're breaking the lever trying to switch it. Throw 2 hot plates into the mix and it can be a frustrating "feature" to utilize. The cleanup is NOT easy as others claim, including the FAQ/QnA. The ceramic coated plates- yes, ridiculous easy to clean. But the 2 plates (top & bottom) have attached to them 2 plastic handles w/ metal spring-loaded latches made NOT of non-stick material making cleanup NOT easy. Rags, sponges, etc. do not fit into the nooks and crannies of these handles and that is where the splattered food and grease hides until they become foul-smelling. In this day and age, "convenient" cookware should be easy to clean and this unit is NOT. If you are comparing to any other cookware, I would say this would take the MOST time to clean if you were indeed "cleaning" the unit and not merely "wiping down with a paper towel". Ew.THE UGLY (minus 2 stars): What a mess. Splattered grease everywhere. Unless you're cooking something that is 1/16" thick, the grease will spatter everywhere, a nice 1 foot of splatter around the entire unit, on the side, in the front, even in the back. A nice grease coating on the metal power wire coil as well as power cord, in the feet assembly, etc. on and on. Everywhere. With the plates cooking Pac-Man style like older Foreman grills, the grease shoots out the front off the counter onto floor. This is on 400 degrees cooking Polish sausages or hamburger patties or steaks, etc. The drip tray included catches the drip, but does nothing for the frontside splatter. I'm not talking floods of grease, people. If you took your eyeglass cleaner spray bottle and gave it one hit in the front, one in both sides and one in the back- that's how much. Annoying. What cooks neater and what's easier to clean- a pan & lid or this unit? A pan & lid, no contest.THE JIST: If your idea of "cleaning" is "wiping down plates with a paper towel disregarding the counter space and the coating of grease all over the rest of the unit, this unit is perfect. The ceramic coating deserves kudos and the temperature control is very nice. But- if you are truly desiring an easy-to-clean unit and your idea of "cleaning" is that of a traditional cook who, this unit will be a disappointment. We will be returning ours.

Love those omelet plates!
I used someone else's griddle at church and it made the juiciest brats on the planet. So much so that I had to have one. It was a great price and saw they had omelet plates. We use them at church for a monthly breakfast. 3 perfect omelets at a time. Just add your egg mixture and then your ingredients. Everything gets good and hot. No turning required and they are done in 5 minutes if you preheat the unit. The unit smokes very little. Clean up is easy peasy. You can wipe them down or wash them in the sink.

I loved this grill until I plugged it in last night
I loved this grill until I plugged it in last night. It preheated fine and then I put my meat on the grill and closed the cover and the grill displaced an error code that isn't even covered in the instruction manual that came with it. After Googling the error code, found out it is a pressure switch under the bottom grilling plate that can't be access easily by a novice. I bought this grill less than a year ago and now it is going in the garbage!
