Worked for me.
This bearing replaced a well worn plastic sleeve that held one end of the main torsion rod.The plastic sleeve was so severley distorted that it impeded the opening of the garage door.It was just a matter of knocking out the plastic from the end bearing plate and inserting this sleeve (with the help of a few hammer blows). All the dimensions were correct, so now I have a solid bearing plate and a smooth operating garage door!

The. Ultimate. Bearing.
WOW this bearing has totally turned my life around!2 months ago I was unemployed and homeless, but after purchasing this bearing I found a job within 2 hours and found the love of my life the next morning. We're engaged and will be using this bearing as a ring. All humor aside it fit my application perfectly and operates smoothly. If you are wondering whether or not to purchase this when you replace your torsion springs, just buy it. It's the easiest part of the whole process to replace and you won't have to worry about it for years.

Used both for my bearing plates
I bought two to replace the nylon bearings attached on the torsion springs. Instead, I used both to replace the bearings on the bearing plates which is worn out. Same specs and excellent quality. Make sure to replace also the bearing plates when you replace your torsion springs. I did not know that it was worn out till I disassembled it to replace the torsion springs.

worked like a charm
Garage door spring broke, so I decided to replace the freeway and outer bearings during the repair. The old freeway bearing that rides in the spring was a cheap black plastic one. This worked perfectly and fit right in the middle of the spring end with no hassle. By chance, this bearing also ended up being the same manufacturer as the two old end ones that are press fit into the flanges. I used a wood 2x4 and some C-clamps to pop the old one out and then press fit this one into the flange, worked like a charm. I didn't even have to pull the flanges off the walls, so I didn't have to worry about alignment or anything. Make sure to get some axle grease to lube up the rod to prevent the inner part of the bearing from cutting through the thin walled tube over time.
