This isn't the same Hot Dog blades I've used for years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm wondering if these blades are knock off's of the true MK Hot Dog(HD) blades, or perhaps that MK has changed their manufacturer? I've used HD blades for the past 6 years and have always been very satisfied with their quality, that is until I bought 2 of these blades from Amazon. I still have 2 older original HD blades so I was able to compare against the new Amazon ones. When they arrived instead of being in MK packaging they were in cardboard folders, ok no big deal. However, the diamond edge was quite different then my older blades . The diamond edge was not uniform either in depth or in kerf. When I put one of the Amazon blades on my MK-101 saw it wobbled horribly. I tried using various sized stiffeners to no avail. When I tried cutting porcelain, I probably would have been better off using a wood saw blade. It ruined the material. Not only that but the edge seemed to have some type spot roughness that seemed to catch the material and caused the saw to jump. WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T BUY ONE OF THESE BLADES FROM THIS SELLER!

Great blade at a great price.
I've been a tile contractor for 7 years. I've tried several different blades. Me and my crew like the thin kerf blades. They cut fast and speed up out work. All thin kerf blades can get a little off while cutting a large tile (above 12 Inches) and maybe cut a very unnoticeable bow in the cut (very minute). So none of those things should really be used as negatives like some of the other reviewers, it's just how these blades are. My crew are used to drawing lines on our large tiles and then making minute adjustments as we are cutting so the blade stays on that line. If that doesn't sound like something you want, then don't buy this blade. This blade cuts very fast with a low amount of chipping. It's set at a great price for the value. It does not wobble, and cuts very straight for a thin kerf blade. I haven't cut many tiles with it yet, but I did test it on a hard thick porcelain tile, and a softer ceramic thin tile. It cut both exceptionally well. Of course it cut the porcelain a tad bit slower, but barely. I've only done about 30 or so cuts. I will update my review after I complete an upcoming job. The job has a nice mix of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, sheets of mosaics, etc) and it will be a good test. It already does very well, and I expect it to get a little better, since it takes a bit sometimes to break in a diamond blade.

Good blade
The blade works fine. it seems to move quickly through material and doesn't rough up the edges.i was a little disappointed in the packaging. it was just in an amazon envelope and was not protected from bending or being warped in shipping in any manner. just tossed it in a bubble bag and sent it.i would have expected a high end blade to have at least a protective backing or stiffener.otherwise i am not unhappy with the blade. a good buy so far.

I was Amazed at how well and easily it cut through that ...
I'd never cut Tile before, and had a 12 x 12 thick Marble tile to cut. The local Builder supply store would not cut marble - said it would wreck their blade. So I bought a saw and this blade. I was Amazed at how well and easily it cut through that marble! A perfect cut, and my very first time ever cutting a tile on a cutting saw. This blade cut through the marble effortlessly. I like this product, had very good experience with it.

No more MK for me
I’ve used MK products for years, but this Made in Indonesia blade is horrible! Cutting soft marble seemed like a task. It bent and wavered constantly....no more MK for me.

About the best
I’ve used many blades professionally and this is about the best for ceramic and porcelain tile It will also cut thru soft stone such as travertine, but really screams and leaves a perfect cut on the hard stuff

yes it is thin
Fast cutting, yes it is thin and can flex .If you keep the blade sharp it will cut for a long time .I am using it to cut lapidary rock and am quite hooked on this blade ! The price keeps inching up but still the one I order most often. For cutting tile try the Concord ,thicker kerf but stiffer blade at about half the price, long lasting but cuts at slower .... Edited ...the problem with the Concord blade people are having with not running true is due to not having a 5/8 " hole but a bastard metric hole that can not be centered short of wrapping electrical tape around the shaft and getting it close. This is why it doesn't run true and pounds your tile.Too bad they won't fix the problem ..Go with the Hot Dog .jc
