Works splendidly. I actually put this in my slow cooker (but watch it carefully, because they're not designed to boil water, so the air inside will dry up and heat the vegetables brown) and it does the job. It's very neat to play with also. It washes well too.I can only think of putting this on a stick and using it to pick up things though.

It is a good steamer, but it is too big to fit most of my pans. It is too big for a 4 in pot and a 12 in saute pan. I have a smaller steamer (which I thought this was) that works fine. Again, a good steamer, but won't work in many of my pans.

Use it to steam dim sum from frozen packs and it works great. Steams it about 10-12 minutes. We use a paper napkin to rub some olive oil on the steel so it does not stick.

Pretty disappointed this thing is rusting already--only had it 2 or 3 months

Worked great! But after two or three uses/washes there is a white power like stuff forming... Maybe this is common of stainless steel? Idk... Unsure if I'll use again...

Awesome steamer. I use it to prepare food for my little one. It isn't big but it does fit a good amount of cubed veggies. It fits a full cubed winter squash for example, however I did have trouble to fit one big cubed sweet potato. Because it only takes about 15min to steam these vegetables I do not have a problem with this. Besides, it fits perfectly on my smallish pots :-).I really like it and use it pretty much every weekend to make batches of steamed food for my baby :-D.

I too thought this was a great steamer but mine has some metal other than stainless in the legs. Very strange gunk develops on them after I wash it and put it away. No one else mentions the problem so maybe mine is a fluke of some kind. I only use it to boil eggs now that it is strange. Anyone have any ideas on what is wrong? I have always boiled eggs this way so don't see how the eggs can be the problem.

I use it to steam food for baby. I like how it adjust to most pots / pans. Just make sure the pot is deep enough for the smallest sizing. Otherwise, the steamer is too tall to use a lid. Only used 3 times but doesn't look like it'll rust. So far so good.
