Worked for a while
This is the second one of these I have bought. Both worked for about a year then the programming goes wonky. Basic data real time still works but historical data and year, month, week total are either way off or zero. Example it says today's rain 0.15", week total 0" and year 0.02". Won't be buying another one.

Great Station with Wi-Fi access.
Bright Color Display. Be notified - this station does not have a battery backup, but if you lose power momentarily it comes back & has all of the stored data & connections intact. I have a whole home generator so this was a good option for me. You can also put the unit on a very small UPS available on Amazon or Office Depot to have uninterrupted service. The power draw is very low so even a very small 1-3 outlet UPS will power this unit for hours. I use this station as a backup to my primary station (Ambient Weather). Great reliable and accurate value. Be sure to calibrate everything when you get it up and running. Recommended.

I WAS so excited, but instead hugely disappointed
I should have bought an Ambient Weather station....I bought this mostly for the screen, which is ok, but not great, and for the DarkSky forecast. The screen ought to have better viewing angles, especially from above since it's on a table than it does. It also ought to be configurable, which it isn't. You get what they give you, or you cycle through a bunch of useless screens to see the 2 with data you want to see. The DarkSky forecast is acruate, but so tiny on the display as to be unreadable from more than 4' away. However, I ended up returning the unit for two other reasons.First, it arrived missing the lightning sensor, which the amazon listing and model 1210 is supposed to include. It wasn't hugely important to me and I didn't notice until I was mostly setup.Second, you can't access it via the MyAcuRite app/web portal. I wrongly assumed "wifi connected" meant you could view weather data via wifi... you can, but only if you're connected to WeatherUnderground, and then only what Weather Underground displays.I don't know what's wrong with the people at Chaney Instruments. They make bad products and I should have known not to trust them again. I had an old Acurite weather station, which required buying a seperate hub "SmartHub", which they just completely shut down a year later.Fool me once, shame on you... Fool me twice, shame on me. I won't give them a third chance.

Died before a year
Had some overnight wind gusts 70mph wind reading did not work the next day. Contacted AcuRite they had me take the unit down disassemble take photos back and forth after a few days they sent me a new unit. It works great! Was a pain but the customer service is good.

NO BATTERY BACKUP FOR SAVING DATA IN CASE OF POWER LOSS
Replaced older unit with this one. Lost power today for about 45 minutes and LOST all data. Very disappointed with product and will not recommend. Why have unit that doesn't have data backup when there is a loss of power! Older unit had battery backup and over 8 years never lost information. NEWER IS NOT BETTER!

Wi-fi connection is horrible / dewpoint reading is inaccurate
The display (console) is vibrant, crisp and easy to very easy to read, one of the major pluses, but the unit has not been a pleasure to own - in fact, it has been a headache. At times in the mornings, the dewpoint reading will read higher than the actual temperature which is not scientifically possible. This is a replacement and the last unit did the same thing. Also, I have not been able to get this unit connected to wi-fi after at least 50 attempts. The last one took a few times, but finally connected. Amazon was great about the exchange and support is quick and they are nice and eager to help, but not very knowledgeable on these things. I was on chat with tech support for over an hour and still could not get it connected to wi-fi. The display and lightning detector is nice, but cannot get past the wi-fi not connecting nor the dewpoint being inaccurate on certain mornings. I was also not aware that once the temperature hit 80 degrees, that the dewpoint changed to the heat-index temperature. There should be a way to override that. I do not think I would buy this product again. If you do not mind an inaccurate dewpoint, nor mind not connecting wi-fi which this was designed (and price) for, it would be ok for you.

Fantastic display and solid station.
This replaces a previous similar WeatherStation I had from AcuRite. The station itself is solid although the leaves something to be desired. However, the new display is absolutely fantastic. Not too bright, but easy to read across the room. It’s almost worth it for the display alone! Also, the setup with weather underground was surprisingly easy.

worth money paid
Nice build and very easy to set up. Monitor is good quality. I wish though in-house temperature indicator would be bigger. Lightening detector fires false positives from time to time.
