Started with a green mess with sediment at the bottom. Vacuumed to waste first. I still have one more chemical, Algicide, to add. This was in one day. Before and after. It’s my 3rd year using their pool opening and closing kits. Cheaper and just as good, if not better than the pool store’s kits! The instructions were easier to follow. The last time I bought a kit from the pool store, it came with zero instructions! Note: I normally buy a new cover every year and always opened with clear water. First year closing with a used cover. It leaked rain water through the winter and created a mess. *** Also advise using a new cover every year

I had just ordered a pool after not having one for over 20+ years,So I didn’t know about a lot of the new products I just knew what I needed and this opening pool kit seemed to check off all the boxes,It’s easy to use the directions are clear,All I had to do was read which one to start off with,The value of the product was affordable considering what you would pay for the individual bottles and shock packets, I couldn’t believe the prices for the pool products that you just have to have,So far after using this product I have only had to deal with iron from my well, I would’ve liked to have a couple of bottles to help remove the iron out,But I bought some floc and it really helped and the clarifier did a good job, I still have some shock and algacide left since I have been fortunate to not get algae in my pool which concerned me, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to have what you need to get your pool up and running to enjoy,So for the money it’s a good deal and it worked for me, I am now enjoying a clean and clear pool,But I have to say having the right sand filter and pump will make all the difference in the chemicals working properly, I hope I have helped others considering buying this product by my experience using it, I wouldn’t hesitate buying it again!!!

Works wonderfully! I didn’t get my pool covered last year, so it’s sat all winter uncovered. We filled it back up with muddy creek water (it’s been raining). And this is what my pool looked like before and halfway through this treatment process! Literally 8 hours difference in these photos!
