Camera worked fine for the first 3 months of use then began to give errors. Full Memory issues even after reformatting the card on both pc and in camera along with switching between format types didn't solve issue. Camera's internal battery is also died quickly and will only run with direct power. The menu buttons will occassionally double up on your arrow presses and will also 'lock' saved videos and lock randomly when recording. Usually this is signified but it going black then back on momentarily when driving.

Good car DVR for one use!
What a waste of money! I used it once for a road trip and it worked great. Two weeks later went to use it and it will not turn on. I forgot about it and just found it in the desk drawer and remembered how it documented our road trip and tried it out.Well I forgot that the last time I tried to use it, it wouldn't work. Guess what nothing changed!!I guess I'm out of luck on this one. I see they are no longer available. I WONDER WHY????

It actually looks better this way anyway and I still have my mounting ...
Thought I'd try one of these dash cams just for SAG and for the money this one works very well. Only one problem setting it up but that turned out to be no problem after all. The suction cup mount will not allow (by its construction) to mount this camera vertically on a flat dash. Since I already have a mounting plate on my dash for my GPS I was hoping I could mount it there but because of the curvature of the mounting arm it will not aim properly. The suction cup mounting arm is designed to be used on a slanted windshield to get the proper view out your window. So I ended up mounting it on my windshield behind my rear view mirror, ran the power cord above my passenger side sun viser, into the door molding and down to the floor, than under my floor mat and up to the sig. lighter. It actually looks better this way anyway and I still have my mounting plate for my GPS.It was probably designed to be mounted this way initially due to the length of the power cord. I have about a foot left over hidden under the passenger side floor mat. Its been on for a week now and still rock solid so the suction cup seems to be doing its job. The camera will record in several resolutions but I have noticed the 720HD works the best. Had it set on the factory default HD1080 but it was freezing up and missing video. That may have been due to the small 8GB memory card it comes with. Changed the resolution to HD720 and haven't had any problems at all. Loops every 3 minutes without missing any video. The 1080 resolution is really sharp and clear but I got to say the 720 setting offers a really great picture quality too. The audio is either on or off with the push of a button, which is nice and is remarkably clear. When you want to watch your video just plug the camera into a USB port (cord included) press the OK button when the Mass Storage screen pops up and BINGO you've got your video. You can spend more for a dash cam but if you want a quality camera for a bargain price try this one. I'm very pleased....... http://youtu.be/-gmZCgizT7M

for the price it is nice, not 1080p, but will get license plates from about 13 feet away.. overall happy with purchase... just wanted better image, will have to spend more for that I see.

Does its job without missing a beat.
For the price, you can't go wrong. Works as advertised, and better than the $100 one I bought previously. Only issue was it did not come with the 8gb card, but I already had a 32 so no biggie. Now if only I could figure out how to hide the wires...

A lot for the price if it works.
Mine arrived DoA. It just kept saying low battery and shutting down, even after overnight charge. Amazon offers return but no automated exchange. That's probably good, as I figure the low cost is a warning. (would have been nice!) As noted in other reviews, instructions are almost undecipherable.

Great product and price.
This cam works like a charm and it is easy to set up. It hasn't failed me yet and the videos of travel are well above average.
