What's the difference between Series IV and V?

The V are brighter. But it also seems sacrificing the mid range detail. They are also louder at the same volume level. I was told by Bose tech support the drivers were updated. I was also informed the drivers in the AM 5 Series V bass module were updated. This would explain some imbalance when using the DirectReflect Series II cubes with the Series II bass module.
