Best pastry cloth and sock I have ever used. The frame holds the cloth tight which helps to keep the pastry from sticking. The sock is thick and makes rolling the pie crust thin easier.

3 years later and I am still using this. Love it! Obviously, it holds up well!

I bought this product to replace the one I had for over 20 years. Used it for the first time and found the wooden frame ends were too big for the metal part of the frame. Luckily, I had kept my old frame. The fabric says "preshrunk." After I used it the first time, I washed it hung it out to dry and did not put it in the dryer. It shrunk anyway. The second time I washed it, I put it in the frame to stretch it out so it wouldn't wobble on the countertop. It was even worse than the first time I washed it.

This appears to be the exact same pastry frame my mother used when I was a kid. I know she tried quite a few before she bought this one, and never bothered with any others afterward. This thing kicks the #@%¿ out of the supposedly superior silicone rolling mats.

This review is for the non-slip mat, not the cloth mat (as some of the reviews in this section are).. While it is NOT non-slip—mine slid all over the place, even on my wood tabletop—it’s still a quality mat, and I love that it is made in the USA. It provided the surface I needed to roll out cookie dough. I imagine the measurements would be very helpful for making a pie crust or pizza! I wish it were dishwasher safe as it is so large water splashed around the sink while washing by hand. Overall, a good product!

I have always had such a hard time with pie crust. But with this product my anxiety is over. It is so easy and I don’t have to guess at the size either.

I used this for the first time today and I had terrific results. God bless the Amazon question-answerer who explained in their answer that the end of the metal frame that has the little bent part is supposed to hook over the edge of the table, because I would not have figured that out on my own. Once I prepared the cloth with flour, it was very easy to use and my pie crust turned out great. Previously I had been using a silicone mat to roll out my pastry and this cloth was much easier for me to use. Love it!!Editing this - after every use, I stored this cloth & rolling pin cover in a bag in my freezer. Finally after many uses, it was time to wash it. Rather than actually reading the directions that came with the pastry cloth, I googled and got some bad information. After shaking out all the excess flour and scraping off any stuck-on dough, I washed it in the machine in cold water with no detergent, and this thing shrunk up on me BIG TIME. Even with cold water and no dryer at all!! I thought it would be best to dry it stretched out on the frame, and It took two people to stretch it to fit onto the frame. And the cloth was so woefully shrunken that once we managed to cram it back onto the frame, the fame was really twisted. So I manually stretched it as well as I could, and am weighing it down with heavy books as it dries, and I hope it recovers.So please learn from my mistake. Hand wash this, because even cold water in a machine could shrink this cloth badly.

I have had one of these for years, but made the mistake of putting it in the dryer, and it shrunk and wouldn't lay flat anymore. So glad to find another.

I love this Rolling Pastry Mat.The job of Rolling out Pastry is fast and easy.Important to brush off excess flour after the job is complete so it does not form a crust over the fibres of the Cloth.Mrs. Anderson “ Thank you for your ingenious cooking /Pie gadgets”

Used it for kneading bread, cleaned up nicely and is big enough to prevent a mess everywhere else. Everyone should have one of these if you bake bread, pizza or pies.

Works perfectly- good size.Great for pies but can use for other baking too.I would recommend.

Awesome pastry mat to roll out your dough and keep flour off of your quartz countertop!!! Well-made and easy to clean off afterward!

This is a great product. I have had one for 60 years and this is the second one that I have purchased for my granddaughters. Great for any time that you wish to roll out dough.
