Slow Release- Calcium 1200 mg with Vitamin D3, Magnesium, Calcium Supplement, Bone Health Support, Take Once Daily Caplet, 185 Count

These caplets are large, in my opinion, but they are coated and easy to swallow. Have been taking them for at least 6 months and have not experienced any stomach upset. I don't eat breakfast and can take them on an empty stomach. I did learn they should not be taken with fish oil as this decreases their efficacy. Recommend this supplement.

I have osteoporosis and recently switched from the Citracal Petites to these Slow Release that only requires two in the AM with Breakfast and provides 1000iu of Vitamin D3 and 1200mg of Calcium slow released throughout the day. They are white and without any dyes or a smell, and taking two a day instead of 4 makes them very easy to use. They are also easy to swallow, and as always Citracal is a quality product that I have relied on for over two decades. I haven’t had a bone density and I am looking forward to my next one, but my Plasma Calcium numbers have improved with in just a few months and I definitely recommend.

Big pill, but one a day is better

If you have to take a calcium citrate supplement, this one provides twice the impact in a single dose about the same size as each of the 4 horse pills a day other versions recommend, this is a huge improvement. Getting two of these down a day is a lot easier than 4 of it's predecessors.... But supplement users should be aware that scientific evidence does not indicate calcium supplements do much to prevent fracture, so those of us at risk can only take them in the hope that they may help. And perhaps in combination with the other constituents...?

Increases bone density and improves/remove inflammation. Easy on stomach due to slow release. Highly recommend.

My doctor recommended I get these!!! This is the BEST deal quantity and Milligram wise (I know because I spent a couple hours comparing all the options)!!!! It is a Really BIG chalk like pill that I occasionally have trouble swallowing but I usually get it down in the first try so there is no taste!! You can smash it between two spoons and it easily and it doesn't make a mess if you hold onto the spoons correctly, but then it tastes like yukky dry chalk going down your gullet!!! So I usually give it a couple tries to swallow and not have to smash it!! I was told after getting a Bone Density Scan that I have the early stages of Osteopenia and my doctor specifically mentioned this brand and said to definitely get Calcium with Vitamin D....so price wise this is the best deal...half a year supply at One per day!! Thank you!!!

I use this product to keep the balance between calcium and magnesium in my body. I take a lot of Magnesium for my heart and general body health, and at times, need to top up my calcium levels which is easily done by the use of this product. Highly recommend it.
