I have purchased other mfgs of these devices only to have very unreliable connection to the 3mm connector. Results in dropouts when the plug or wire is wiggled. The reviews on this brand seemed to address this shortcoming so I expected they would not exhibit this trait. Although they work better than others they still exhibit this problem to some degree.

This MOBOREST adapter looks nice out of the package and worked well for a month but now I'm experiencing periodic distortion because the connection has already loosened even though I never removed this from the cord it's snapped onto. If I touch this adapter while plugged into the headphones jack of my receiver (which is what I needed an adapter for) there's distortion which is something that just began yesterday after exactly one month of use. This is definitely not a good quality product so don't waste your money.

It costs more than the others and I only needed one, but I had events coming and spending on several other items so I made the decision quickly. I still had an issue with sound but I think it was a bad 3.5mm cable connection. I swapped that out and everything is golden sounding as it looks now, and as I bought the pair, I have a spare.

Don't waste your money. I purchased two separate packs; mainly for the differences in the barrel color. NONE of them worked right out of the package.Unfortunately, I waited too long to return them.Hopefully this will help keep others away from spending their money.

I use a set of headphones that have a mic on them with my reciever. I don't need the mic to work, but stereo audio should, and it doesn't. If you half-way plug the phones in to the adapter, they sound right but plug wont stay. If you push them all the way in you get a very snug fit (great!) but missing sound, unbalanced, lacking bass and vocals are faint.

You know how sometimes you have to plug headphones in halfway and rotate them and fidget with them to get them to work? These do exactly that. Look elsewhere.

It doesn't work, very janky. I tried several different headphones. The sound cuts in an out and sometimes is either on the right or left side of the ear. I've had bad luck with all sorts of brands with this type of product. It's very annoying.
