Easy ready
Abby did a great job with this book, as she does everything else. My thoughts bounce around and trail off into space very much like hers so I found it very easy to read. The anecdotes are all very relatable; I’m looking forward to the next one she puts out.

Wonderful experience
My book arrived in a condition better than advertised. And, it arrived before the first date mentioned for the delivery window. I'd definitely purchase again!

I liked it... A lot
I am interested in Abbi's work because I'm just so damn proud and inspired by the new League of their own series she co-created with Will Graham. One can definitely see some parallels between her life and her character, Carson, on League...Writing a memoir screams one takes oneself seriously but this memoir is not pretentious. It"s a reminder that we're on this Earth ship together. Well done, Abbi Jacobson.

Wish it didn’t end
Loved everything about this book. If you enjoy broad city you’ll enjoy Abbi’s witty personality as she takes you through her rollercoaster of emotions.

Awesome read.
I love the format. I love the fact that some time it is rambling and sometimes its heart felt. Everyone is insecure at one time or another. Keep up the great work.

Great Road Trip Book!
I went into this book semi-blind, knowing that Abbi is funny but not really knowing a lot about her life. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed learning about her journey. This book follows Abbi on a road trip following a break-up and I thought it was an awesome way to deliver the story.I love a book that has something to break up the text and in this book it's Abbi's drawings! I had no clue that she was an illustrator. This was a quick and easy read that I got a lot out of! I took it on a trip to Florida with me and it was a great book to read when traveling!

Well-written intimate collection
I really enjoyed this book! I wasn't really familiar with Abbi Jacobson prior to A League of Their Own, but I'm really glad that I read this and learned more about her. Though it is described as an essay collection, it reads smoothly right through. Highly recommend!

Glad I read it...
A book with a lot of heart & relatable reflections from a talented individual. The podcast series at NYC MOMA is great too, really an all-round awesome comedy performer, writer, artist. Nice work.

Brilliantly written
Really well written, thought provoking and surprisingly calming. I wish I could have read this book in my early twenty’s.

Vulnerable and Hilarious
I really enjoy how open and honest Abbi is. Noticing small details and appreciating quiet moments alone is not something everybody can speak about, or even cares about, and it’s refreshing to read. Even though she is speaking about vulnerable topics she also somehow manages to make everything hilarious. I didn’t want the book to end because I felt like I was talking to my best friend, and who wants to hang up the phone in the middle of a great conversation?
