Does its job!
I bought these shorts not for exercising, but actually for the sole purpose to wear under dresses to help keep the dreaded chub rub at bay (you ladies with thick thighs know what I mean!!). To that end, they did their job! The shorts are soft and very stretchy, and as an added bonus they helped keep my belly under wraps as well as protect my thick thighs from chafing under the dress. You can’t tell I was wearing anything underneath. The size chart was right on point, I am 5’4” and weigh about 200lbs, so I bought the XL and they fit perfect.

Ultramarathoner approved.
These shorts are going to be part of my Summer 2018 anthem. I wore them for the first time during a 10K race (took a chance) and they served me well. The high waist keeps my tummy in place. The 8" inseam is a comfortable length on my thighs - not too short or long. The legs didn't ride up either. The pockets were perfect for my big phone - a Samsung J7. Not once did my phone pop out. Perfect thickness of fabric - passed the squat test (not see-through when squatting). Several of my runner friends were interested in them for themselves. I immediately bought another pair in navy. I imagine I'll purchase a few more pairs as I train for my marathon.Update: I will officially be wearing these shorts for the Chicago Marathon. I've worn them all summer and they have held up every step of the way.

Just what I wanted!
I am 5’3”. 155ish lbs. wear 9-11 pants. I def got some junk in my trunk! I probably could’ve gotten a Large but the medium works for me and I wear them all the time!!! I also bought burgundy ones!!! The pockets on the side are amazing for hiking, so convenient! Def will buy more!

Holds in my mom tummy
I’m 5’10 and about 205 pounds carrying most of my weight in my tummy. I purchased and xxl based off of size chart. I love that the waist goes above my belly button and holds in all of my muffin top and belly bulge. Even when I am going on light jogs it stays up!!!! I almost never find myself adjusting and pulling them back up. I use these several times a week during my workouts or when I’m deep cleaning. They are very comfortable. Never left with a red mark around my waist. They are stretchy yet form fitting. I will be purchasing more since I love the longer length (no chub rub with this length), non shiny fabric and the high waist (above be belly button). However, I do get the tiny fabric balls on inner thigh area after a few times wearing them so I’m only giving them 3 stars. They start to shabby after several uses so while great for working out I wouldn’t wear these out and about in public unless brand new.

Running shorts with a good phone pocket
Had already bought the Baleaf capris with the phone pocket and wanted to try the shorts. Can't believe how many manufacturers are ignoring active women who need a spot for their phones! So happy to discover Baleaf. The pocket fit my iPhone 7 in its case and held it firmly against my upper outer thigh so there wasn't bouncing around and I didn't get chaffed. There was also a hidden pocket at the waist that could actually hold a key with fob, not just a single key. Again, HOORAY and why don't more makers of activewear think of this? How many people just run out the door with NOTHING when they go run, walk or bike? I am 5'6" and wear a size 8 comfortably and the medium fit the way I wanted. It felt supportive and snug but nothing was tight. I am a runner and appreciate that the legs of the shorts didn't ride up as I ran. Fabric was a good thickness, not at all see through. I am a fan!

Big Fan!
Okay I love these. For my big booty ladies out there, they are squat proof. They have like a little sparkle to them too which is so cool! They fit great, I got the small. They are very supportive! I'm 5'2 and wear a 27

Love these!
I love these, I love to wear them hiking and around the house but also under skirts. The pockets are what set these apart. I bought a M, I am 5'7, athletic build. 155lbs.

Runs small.
I would err on the next size up from your regular size. Nice fabric though not quite as thick as I would have preferred. Color is great. My favorite length (bike short length), harder to find these days.

Worst shorts I’ve ever bought DO NOT believe the reviews
Terrible, I read all these great reviews and I was extremely disappointed. I’m a size 10 so got a medium. They are tight on the legs and bum but slack on the waist. The material is thick and not stretchy enough and the body isn’t long enough so they constantly fall down in the back. They are uncomfortable, poorly made and do not move with your body during basic things such as walking so I definitely couldn’t work out in them. I am extremely disappointed in them as there are so many good reviews on here. Ended up buying flex high waisted Shorts from Gymshark which were a million times better than these terrible shorts. Waste of money do not buy!

Not Squat Proof & Has a Weird Sheen
I am 5'7 and ~115lbs, size 26 in denim, and I took a size small in these shorts. The shorts were easy to pull on, however, the material had a weird sheen to them which I didn't like - the shorts look a lot more matte in the photos. The hem of the shorts around the thighs felt very snug and that the seam could burst at any moment, and my thighs are very slim. The shorts didn't seem to have any compression effect and they don't feel as comfortable on as I expected. They gave me a slight cameltoe and for ladies who want to use these in the gym, I don't think these shorts are squat proof either. My sister purchased some ALONGFIT leggings from Amazon which I tried and found flattering and comfortable, so I purchased these bike shorts hoping to have similar results. Unfortunately for all the reasons stated earlier, these shorts were a miss and I sent them back. I wouldn't personally pay more than $15 for a pair of these.

Not squat proof and you’ll need to size down.
I ordered an XL in the purple, and also XL in black as I’m a UK14. However, the waist in both is too big and the leggings start slipping as soon as I put them on. They don’t feel supportive or compression-like at all in this size so I’m going to order L and compare the sizing then.Material seems good quality in the purple shorts though. Not squat proof IMO. If I squat in the purple, you can see the outline of my underwear and if I’m wearing too dark or too light underwear, you see the colours through the fabric. The black shorts, not squat proof at all! Even in a size too big for me, you can see all my underwear and the white label in the shorts too. These will be limited to being worn under t-shirt dresses and very long tops rather than actually being used to workout in.I’m impressed with the length of these shorts. And the pockets are handy too. Not enough women’s gym wear comes with proper pockets, so this is a great feature!Hoping to update my review once I get a size that fits better!

Perfect long leg shorts!
At last, after trying so many different pairs, I have finally found my perfect long leg shorts! These tick all the boxes I need, breathable, comfortable, do not chafe, help flatten out the tummy and provides light support for my hips and back.Note the different material compositions between the different colours. I first bought the black pair which are entirely man-made fiber. See my photo, 87% Polyester 13% Spandex. They provide great support and don't move, but they are not breathable. Fine to wear for short periods but I need all day support and they left me chaffed. This pale grey pair are as described with the cotton content and comfortable to wear all day, they don't move, ride up the leg or roll down on the waist, and are so comfortable!Tip: I recommend using the height and weight part of the size chart to find your size. To get some compression and support I found my size on the size chart and then sized down. So normally I am an XL but purchased the L and they fit perfect for what I need. I wear them as underwear to provide support as I am on my feet all day. They also wash well and come out looking good as new.

Comfortable but a bit of a weird fit
These pants are slightly weird in their fit, the bottoms are tight around the thighs so they give a nice silhouette around the butt area but the tummy area is looser so not much support and then the band around the top is quite tight so they dig in and create a mark under clothes. They also don't come up high enough above the muffin so it digs in about 3/4 of the way up so there's still a bit of a muffin top going on. I was more hoping for tummy support or at least a smoothing out of the tummy area so I'm a bit disappointed. I would probably recommend them if you have a flat stomach but if you have a bit of a tummy then I'd chose something else.
