NYX Nyx cosmetics hot singles eye shadow bad seed

I was hoping for this to be a more saturated and true red than it is, but the color IS nice, and it's got some sparkle to it, which I like. I've been very happy with all the NYX makeup I've bought so far, and I do like how pigment-rich their stuff is.The eye-shadow -is- red, but it's a fairly faded and pinkish red, even when applied pretty heavily.I may end up going for a really crimson red and using this to dust over it to give it shimmer, but I haven't decided yet. If you want to go red, but not TOO intensely, this is probably the right choice for you. If you want dramatic red, it's probably going to disappoint you.

I spent three days working with this shadowIt's a transparent color, yet it's very buildableI was able to create a one shadow look that was ombre by putting NYX milk in my inner corner as a base. This shadow is only red when it is literally caked on. This is where it goes bad for meBy caking it in the outter corner my eyelids they got red and swollen. Lots of pain. I would pass on this shadow, head over to colourpop and buy Stay Golden. It's cheaper, extremely more pigmented, and has less mica in it, which is what I suspect caused the allergic reaction.

PERFECT for the look I was going for! The powder has a strong, rich color and can be blended easily.

Good shadow but, has no shimmer, very flat.
