Very nice quality, very poofy!

Cheap. Cheap. Cheap. I know feather boas shed, I was 100% prepared for that. This is literally AWFUL. I could barely take it out of the package, feathers were flying everywhere. It's also very very thin, so if you're looking for a "plump" feather boa, this is not for you. You'd be better off getting one at a party store, which is what I plan to do to finish the costume I'm working on. I hate leaving negative reviews, but this is honestly one of the lousiest things I've ever purchased. Buyer beware!

Suggestion: Do not open the boa package in the house as you will have feathers everywhere!! I speak from experience. I bought one for a friend as well. We wore them to a girls night out. There was a feather trail behind us all evening long . They were fun and served the purpose intended , but my purple boa will live in the garage.

This boa looks NOTHING like the picture. I ordered the white one for a theme party I’m attending. I compared it to the others that were for sale on Amazon. This picture looked like it was 3 times fuller than all the others. It’s not! The model must be holding 4 of each color. I’m very disappointed in the quality of the boa and I feel that I was deceived by the picture. Definitely not worth it.

I'm surprised to see any low ratings on here at all. I am a big costume person and dress up for various events all of the time and so have had plenty of feather boas over the years. This boa is really think and fluffy and luxurious compared to most of your run of the mill boas like those you get at Joann's etc. The only boa I have had that is thicker and nicer than this one was a showgirl quality used boa I bought for $60 on Ebay. It does shed slightly more than the average boa but probably because it has 2-3 times the fluff in the first place and all boas leave a little feather fluff around so if you don't want that then boas should not be part of your costume.

Wore this last halloween and my friends are still finding feathers in their house. Feathers were falling out everywhere and coating everything. I think I lost a hundred tiny feathers in about 20 minutes. My husband made me put it in a plastic bag for the drive home from the party because e everything it touched became covered in downy black feathers.

I rarely post reviews, and am equally rarely dissatisfied with Amazon purchases but this was my worst experience. Though the boa was beautiful it dropped way way too many feathers everywhere! Wore it for a party, still finding feathers in my car, and the host and hostess found feathers for days. I bought one in black and one in white--would've returned them but not returnable through amazon which is so easy but would have to ship it back to seller--not worth the effort. Anyhow I am so disappointed because I LOVE boas (-:

I purchased the white boa for an upcoming 1920s holiday party that I'm attending and this is PERFECT! It's very thick and the absolute perfect length! There is a small amount of shedding, but certainly nothing that I wouldn't expect from a Boa. In comparison to the cheap-y ones you can buy from the local party stores, this one is a top choice. I put it on and I imagine a much more lavish life (:
