Great watch -- functions great & looks more expensive than it is
I love that this is a quartz chrono with a 30-minute counter. Most quartz chronos have 60-minute counters and are just too dang hard to read. This one is perfect. The military design is nice and clean, and the case dimensions are perfect for an every day, all-arounder. Lume is only OK, but the light function is bomb, which helps make up for it.Only thing I don't like about this watch is the shitty Water Resistance of only 30 meters. Make it 100 meter WR and this would be damn near perfect.

Awesome
I have worn this watch three days now, and it is everything I had hoped it would be. It is great looking, and sits perfectly on my wrist. So far, it has kept perfect time. To be honest with you, I did not really need a chrono. I'm not a pilot, and do not time sporting events. If I need to know how long it takes to get from point A, to point B, the GPS in my car does that for me. So why did I buy the watch? I like the way it looks. I like analog watches, rather than digital. I suppose I am just old school. Those are the pros. I do have on con. Date setting is more complicated than it should be. It does not have direct date setting. You have to use the hour hand to change the date. That is my only complaint, so far. The transaction was flawless. The seller was great, and the watch arrived on the date they said it would. I would recommend them to any oneDon't be afraid to buy this watch. An up-dateI have had my watch for two weeks now, and it has kept perfect time. Changing the date was not nearly as difficult as I had imagined. The date centers perfectly in the window.I have had this watch two months now, and it has not lost, or gained, one minute. It is my every day wearer.

Tons of value for $$$ and very lightweight
The watch is both beautiful and easy to wear. I have several SUPER heavy watches that are gorgeous but can be a bit burdensome to wear after a while. I initially freaked out a little because all one of the sub-dials and the second hand were mis-aligned. These can be adjusted. Read the manual or search the Internet for the answers. The hands on mine are now fine. Be aware, the watch has no lume. The hands and triangles resemble applied lume, but they are not. Instead, the watch has the usual Timex Indiglo feature as with many other Timex watches. It's a little on the darker side, as it is shining through a black dial, but it can easily be read in the dark. My only quibble is 30M of water resistance. This means it's only safe in the rain and for washing your hands. I know, what do you expect for the price of a good pizza? But as I said, it's only a quibble.

Looks like a million bucks!!
This watch is light and looks like a million bucks! Its a 20mm lug width, so its a strap monster! Dress it up, dress down, dress it rugged.. it looks great in all dress. The crystal is acrylic, so you have to be careful with that. Good thing is you can always polish it, if you get minor scratches in it. For the price, its hard to beat!

Surprisingly good.
Let start off by saying that I know watches pretty well. I am by no means a watch snob but I do own a few higher quality watches from Hamilton, Steinhart and Seiko. I don't have much experience with Timex but I did own a few in my teen years. I recently purchased a Timex Expedition North 36mm which is one of their higher end watches. It's a field watch with 100m WR, sapphire crystal, steel case and solar powered movement. I paid $160.00. I was so disappointed with it I had to return it. The lume was so poor they shouldn't even have bothered to put it on. The second hand was very misaligned with the indices which shouldn't happen with a 160 dollar quartz. So I was curious how a Timex in the $40 to $50 price range would be. I was attracted to the MK1 because of the old-school domed acrylic crystal. I know its going to scratch but to me it's like patina on a carbon steel knife blade. The indices on this watch lined up perfectly, the lume was not terrible and it has indiglo. I've had the watch submerged in water while giving by baby and bath and have worn it in the shower several times with no problem. It's important to know that the watch does not come with instructions. They can found on-line and it will show you how to zero the hands on the chronograph. I do plan on wearing this watch on hikes and for camping. It will be interesting to see if it will hold up to cooling off in waterfalls next summer. I think it would do fine. I was so impressed with this watch I just ordered another without the chronograph.

Not a good value
Looks nice and keeps time, non of functions work making the stopwatch features useless.

Waiting on a replacement, returned the original
Was excited to get the watch today but immediately noticed the top right subdial didn't point to zero but instead to next tick mark (18 degrees over, very noticeable). That's odd. Ran the chronograph multiple times and reset the time and date and it still defaulted to the wrong number. Not only is the chronograph N/A but the two subdials pointing in different directions just looks bad and asymmetrical. Aside from that it looks like a great watch. The nato strap is relatively short which is nice, the crown, pushers and indigilo are all good. The seconds subdial surprisingly lined up with the markings well and as usual in a cheap quartz watch the second hand (for the chrono) doesn't perfectly line up with the tick marks on the outside but is definitely close enough there's no confusion which marking it's pointed to. I also wish they repurposed the tenths of a second subdial to show hours/half hours instead so you could time longer than 30 minutes, they wouldn't even have to change the markings and its quartz so it'd just be a couple lines of code.

Good value for the money, looks good.
I purchased this watch to replace a Seiko watch which cost more money. The Seiko ran fast a couple of minutes a day. The Timex keeps great time and is a nice looking casual watch. I used to buy the iron man watch, but decided to do an upgrade. I am very happy with the watch.

Nice watch
Really like this watch color of band and watch really go good together, light weight almost feels like you don’t have a watch on your wrist, like the way the crystal is dome shaped . Just wish the second hand was the actual seconds indicator and not the small one at the 6 o’clock. Other than that very nice watch.

Gostei.
