Black Diamond Grip Skateboard Longboard Griptape Roll

I really like this used on steps I made so no one would slip and fall .

I like the fact that I still have more in case I need it for later when my grip tape needs replacing.

Used it fir non-slip surfaces for wooden boxes used in physical fitness and on my skateboards.

Bought this to save money on grip, and was happily surprised by the quality. The grip does great, so far still ripping up my shoelaces even after a month of daily street skating. So far no rips or loss of adhesiveness, and I fully expect the board to break/razortail well before the grip needs replacement(though this is true of most grip). The application was easy, especially compared to the cheap grip sheets. Save some money and buy in bulk.

Works great

The Black Diamond - Clear grip tape is a little bit more difficult to work with than traditional black tape. I build custom longboards and have found this tape to be a little more "brittle" or less flexible than most other grip tape. Also, it look good when you apply the grip tape to a lighter color deck. When applied to darker colored decks, you can see all of the flaws...small bubbles, etc.

I was sent the wrong color and didn't realize till I got home and my handyman had installed it. But other then that it is working great. I had it cut into 4 strips 2.5 inches wide and applied to my outdoor steps and dog ramp. It was installed during cooler weather and it is holding tight. I have hosed them off a few times and they are holding tight. It was way less expensive then the outdoor treads.
