Toro timecutter z4200 Koehler single cylinder.
Good product but you would think for the price they would include a gasket for installation which is necessary. If yours has been on for a while get a gasket ,new longer bolts in case of tread damage ,anti seize

Perfect fit to replace old muffler that broke where exhaust ...
Perfect fit to replace old muffler that broke where exhaust pipe attaches to muffler. After 4 or 5 hours of mowing the exhaust pipe broke loose from the muffler just like the old one (picture 1) and the exposed edges of the break looks like a thinner gauge than the old muffler. I now realize this muffler system on the Kohler engine is a horrible design. These mufflers are too heavy for this setup and the bouncing and jiggling of the mower eventually pulls the muffler loose from the flimsy connection to the exhaust pipe. There are no motor mounts on my Toro z4200, so the muffler rides solid with the frame which amplifies the strain on the connection. I welded it back like I did on my old muffler and added a metal support from the exhaust pipe to the side of the muffler (picture 2). Just anchoring it only to the top is insane engineering because it pulls loose so easily. Notice the bracket on the other side of the muffler is welded to the side to make it much stronger and it never breaks. I also added a support from the splash pan mount on the side of the muffler to the frame (picture 3). So far so good after a couple hours of mowing. Hope this helps those that have the same problem I had.

I had to improvise with the side mounting screws. the original muffle had threads on the 2 mounting sides this unit simply had 2 holes that needed new bolts, nuts and washers. all is good
