It's worth the money. Great for kids, adults will want more speed.
I bought 4 of these rc's for Christmas for $200 each. One for each of the 3 kids & one for myself. On Christmas day with the servo saver snap ring (e-clip) fell out on 2 of them in the first few minutes. I was able to find them luckily, because without them the cars wouldn't steer. I reinstalled them properly & checked the other two to make sure they were installed correctly. Never had any other problems with that after the first time. Must have been improperly installed from the factory. If it wasn't for that I may have given this a 5 star rating. The stock batteries are only 1800mah, so they don't have much run time, but I had a 4 other better batteries already charged & ready on Christmas day. The stock charger is slow, but if your into the hobby you have a better charger anyway. The cars are decently fast for a brushed motor, & they get around surprisingly good in the grass. They will throw rocks & dusts clouds off road. On pavement they turn well without rolling over all the time, the aluminum chassis keeps the weight low & I think that helps it stay on it's wheels even after crashing. The younger kids hit everything full throttle (house, car, trees, fire hydrant & each other) & they haven't broken anything yet, except trashing the lexan bodies. The kids like to drive it from the street into the curb at full speed & ramp into the yard. It will clear the sidewalk if they hit the curb with enough speed, so they jump pretty good. We setup a ramp in the yard & they land on the wheels & keep going good. The transmitter is nicely sized & takes 4 AA batteries, & has a good range, it still works when the vehicle is far enough away that you can't really tell which way your going. Even with 4 trucks going at the same time we never had any problem with interference thanks to the 2.4 GHz transmitters. The stock bodies only come in red or blue, & they are a generic looking shape.I took the oldest kid to the skate board park & we got some good air off the half pipe. We rolled it so many times, flipped end over end & crashed hard a bunch & it survived thru 3 1/2 stock battery packs there before anything broke. He broke a $3 part front suspension part & the local hobby town had it in stock so it was fixed the same day. I cracked the front bumper right as I finished my 4th pack, that part wasn't in stock but I have a feeling they get smashed a lot. It's a $200 truck, so it's good for kids, it's not too fast or too complicated. It has potential to adjust camber, caster, toes & shock settings. It has 4wd with a front & rear differential. It can be repaired & upgraded with a faster motor & better batteries. All for $200. I think of how many slow toy grade rc's I've wasted money on for the kids & not a single one of them has gotten as much use as these have already.

Great, underated truck with plenty of potential.
Its a great beginner SCT 4x4 race truck. It took a little to get it to equal the Losi and AE trucks but overall with a few of the Helion hop up parts and some fine tuning of the shocks and tires and the truck flat rips.My truck as it sits:3900kv 4 pole15 tooth pinion80amp trackstar esc35/40 weight shock oilpink suburbsCVD's in rear, stock front bonesaluminum rear hubs12mm aluminum hexescenter diff w/ 100k weight oilTruck is very durable and havent really had any problems. One a-arm broke and one pillowball mount rounded out. Both were cheap from Helion's online site. NOTE: take all grub screws out of driveshaft cups and loc-tite them in place when you first get it. Should take no more than 10 min to complete. Saves you bunch of headaches so they dont back out and cause a loss of 4wd during a race!

Strong motor, High range gearing.
Ive been in RC for over two decades and bought this as a toy to have something different. Reading other reviews it was considered slow but looking at the specs and understanding them means this is not a low gear vehicle its power range is mid to high rpm. So on gravel and grass it will be slow but on smooth dirt you will be flying and slinging dirt everywhere once you learn the power curve on the motor by keeping the power in the mid to full throttle range.

Worst Birthday Gift Ever!
Worst car ever! I have had problems with it from the day I took it out of the box. I have spent $200 trying to repair all the issues I've had. I also tried to return it and the company was unwilling to help.
