Rossi Men's 900 Parkes Elastic Side Leather Work Boots

This is the fourth pair of Aussie boots that I’ve got from Amazon that have been the wrong size. Sometimes they fulfill your order based on US size and others based on Aussie size. I’m sick of being told to order based on one size and getting another. Be consistent and sort it out. Waste of time and now I’m stuck with Blundstones.Now for the boot, it looks and feels like a top class boot although the Parkes model is made overseas. You can get the made-in-Australia Rossi Endura on Amazon for 15$ less!

The leather is high quality, soles are comfortable with the right amount of cushion; however small stones tend to get caught in the treads. Has more of an oblique toe. Has a nice insole, but no arch support. I ordered a size 11 US and the length is true to size, but this is a much wider boot than a Blundstone 500. I had to add much thicker insoles to take up some volume in the boot. Seems like a high quality boot, with excellent leather and durability. If you have a higher arch be prepared to experiment with different insoles to get the correct fit.

Sturdy, well made, light weight Chelsea boot from Australia. Reminds me of a higher quality version of my Blundstones from 20 years ago. The insole is adequate or can easily be removed for a different one. The soles have a nice bit of cushion to them without feeling spongy. I like the leather pull tab on the back as I’ve ripped fabric ones on a few other boots I’ve owned. Only had them for a week or so but pleased with the quality and value of my purchase.

Hit wromg size but fortunately fit. Wear a US 9.5-10.....orderes and Au 8 and it fit right. The boot looks great but rubs top of my feet...painful.

Wasn’t a fan of the profile. They soles looked to chunky from the side which is probably why they don’t have an outside profile picture in the description. I went with the Blundstone boot instead.

Good boots that last better than Blundstones, as these are still manufactured in Tasmania, not China, as is now the case with Blundstones.

I purchased these boots after reading multiple reviews of customers who were "not" satisfied with Blundstone as a result of the soles falling apart. While many indicated Blundstone stood behind the issue, it was evident poor quality soles were continued to be used - so I removed them from my search. After reading the positive reviews on Rossi, and reading that these boots are still made in Australia (reveiws indicate Blundstone are not), I ordered a size 10 (I wear a size 11 US). Everything about this purchase experience has been positive. I live on Maui, so I purchase products from Amazon online oftren, the delivers is always efficient with Amazon (these boots actually beat the projected arrival dates posted by two days - which never happens) and the shipping cost was reasonable as this product was not Amazon Prime. The boots fit me exactly as I hoped right out of the box and were imediately comfortable, getting more comforttable with each wearing over the last several days. Prior to life on Maui, I lived in Wyoming and Montana - so living in the Western US, I grew up wearing (quality) handmade western boots most of life, Lucchesse, Tony Lama,Justin, Nocona, J Chisolm, Dan Post, Hondo. Red Wing. After my fist week with these boots consider them among the best boot purchase I have made. Workmanship appears to be of high quality, as does the leather used, the guts of the boot (that can be seen) look like the attention to detail is first class, the sole is durable, yet I have found it flexable and comfortable. I highly recommend this product based on my experience at this time.
