Book2 English - Swedish For Beginners: A Book In 2 Languages Paperback – October 15, 2008

This book follows the lessons on-line and it is just what I needed. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Swedish.

This is a good book to learn Swedish. It covers basic words and phrases, but no intricate grammar. It'd be a good book for a Swedish class.

This book will not really teach you how to speak the whole language of Swedish, but it's a very very good supplement to other materials. Each chapter (there are 100) has a series of sentences, many of which use the same structure, so you can get the hang of that structure and usage. Then, once you have downloaded the audio files, you can listen to them over and over again, and actually learn how to pronounce these, which is enormously helpful.

Excellent choice to speed up Swedish language learning!

A great tool for beginners, it helps to construct simple sentences and basic grammatical concepts. Highly recommended!

Good little bites of language in easy packaging useful for beginning to build a vocabulary. Links to a so-so websites for audio and additional vocab.

I wish I had not bought it.As someone who is learning Swedish , I do not find this book helpful. Its just a list of phrases in English and what they mean / how to say them in Swedish. No explanation of the words, sentence construction or anything whatsoever.It maybe useful for someone who is visiting Sweden for a few days or weeks and wants to learn a few words to get around.However , if you want to learn Swedish as a language wholly , do not waste your money buying this book.
