Doguet's Organic Long Grain White Rice 25lb

We tried a much more expensive organic white rice and were sorely disappointed. Unfortunately, our previous brand had disappeared from Amazon, and we decided because of the reviews to try this one out despite the 25 pound size. We took a chance and won!Taste is great, it cooks up very nicely without being particularly sticky, and there's nothing NOT to like about it (including the price in the bulk size - we just vacuum packed in smaller packages what we won't quickly use).Note: we use a Zojirushi rice cooker, though we plan to try our InstantPot as well. We'd expect good results there based on how nicely it cooked up in the Zojirushi rice cooker.EDITED: We've now used a fair amount of this rice, and are extremely pleased with it - beyond the initial excellent first impression. I suspect that when this is gone, we'll be re-ordering this brand if it's still on Amazon and is still at the very reasonable price we got it for here. Very delicious, doesn't stick nearly as much as most other brands.2ND EDIT MORE THAN ONE YEAR LATER: We've now used the entire bag and are re-ordering the same product as I type this edited review - wouldn't want anything else. This is truly the best rice we've ever used in our 50 years of marriage. Highly recommended.

My food has to meet 3 criteria: 1) clean, 2) affordable, and 3) delicious taste. This product exceeds all of those expectations. Would just like to say how grateful I am for this product, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Fast shipping! Arrived weeks sooner than expected! It tastes like rice of course, just a whole lot more than you buy in the store. You can’t beat the price either. Buying in bulk is way better than spending more at the grocery store for a 1-2 pound bag.

The rice is delicious, but after comparing the overall price to what I can get in my local grocery store, I think I'll pass on this.

It should be called fat grain rice because it is not long.Secondly it’s more like sticky rice than regular rice! I was sadly disappointed when I made my first batch.I made a second batch just to make sure and same results. I won’t be buying from them again!

Love this organic rice. Although it is a little pricey. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
