The Atlas of Monsters: Mythical Creatures from Around the World

We discovered this book through our local library (yay for libraries!) and my daughter asked me to get her a copy of her own. It’s a wonderful Atlas of mythical creatures and includes origin countries and descriptions. As lovers of all things fantasy, this is a wonderful book :)

I love the added coded "game" they have in it. The creatures are so fun with maps and regions to make it easy to look up the lore.

We had borrowed this book from the library ages ago and my son really loved it. Found it and when it arrived today, he was very excited. This book is more detailed then some of the other books he has received on the topic. He likes how it looks like parchment and has "cool images."

Looks great and has very interesting stories my 8 year old grandson enjoyed. Only complaint - the type is difficult to read.

This book is meant for kids, we bought it for our sons 8th birthday. He’s into myths and legends right now so we thought this book can give him an idea of creatures around the world, then he can look into it more on his own. It shows different regions around the world and gives you a little story behind each creature or legend. My husband and I ended up looking at the book for a while, very interesting!

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for our 6 year old, he thoroughly enjoys it. He isn't able to read it yet himself, most of the names are strange and difficult to pronounce. But he really enjoys looking through the photos of different Monsters and listening to us read it to him. We also love how big the book is too, nice hard back and has good quality pages.

This is a fun book that our little one will enjoy later. Our little bit went from monster lover to scared. So this book has gone into hiding. I would say it is for older children. It does have fun illustrations of creatures and where they are from with histories and what not. It’s a neat book.

This book is perfect for dipping your toes in monster mythology from around the world! It's engaging and colorful and has several layers for you to enjoy. Really the perfect starting point for a kid who is interested in monsters of any sort.

This was bought as a gift for my daughter.She likes books about monsters,Crypitds & Mythical Creatures.She likes this book & we would both recommend it.The book arrived on time new & in perfect condition. 😁
