Easy install - Great Quality!
We called the local hot tub store and they suggested a CoverMate but they didn't have any stock. So... Thanks Amazon! Easy install. Very solid. Well designed. I was worried because my cover isn't square. It's 94" long so a bit bigger than the CoverMate was designed to work with. But no problems. Everything lined up just fine. Before CoverMate I had a monster I could barely manage. Now I've got a cover I can lift with one hand. Just awesome.

The cover lifter works very well and it arrived on the day it was supposed to come. This lifter has no pneumatic shock type lift assist which was supposed to be better (on my previous lifter)but failed to stay attached. This product is more reliable. Easy assembly too.

Does the trick!
Installation was no trouble, cover is easier to lift and never gets thrown in the dirt now! Much more relatable than the hydraulic ones that break all the time. Simple is perfect.

Rubber rotting away.. poor quality or old product they're selling
This is a basic spa lift I replaced it when I put a new side panels on my hot tub. Unfortunately the rubber is rotting away the quality is poor. I'm living in San Diego CA where the climate is temperate this shouldn't be happening. I have two photos on my Android phone Amazon should default their media picker to your phone here are the images..

Easy to install, good value for price. Works very well.Would recommend to others. No more snow problems opening this in winter as my other one had the bracket going all the way to the bottom of the tub and was stuck in the snow. Had to dig and all that. No more problems.

Works well with a few caveats...
So the CoverMate1 spa cover lifter is generally a decent product, was not hard to install and seems to work well. However, it seems very pricey for what it is and it's a little disappointing that the brackets are plastic and not metal. I guess we'll see how they hold up. The other issue is that the one I received was in a box that was falling apart and was clearly a returned item from a previous customer, as the bags inside had been opened. Again, for the price not as expected. Amazon usually sells these types of items as "Used" at a discounted price. Oh well..

Works good.
Works well. Easy to lift. Easy to install easy. You need about 2 feet of clearance to lift it up.
