Black & Gold Pilot Aviator Sunglasses

As you can see from the picture, they're pretty dark. I plan on using these on a cruise I'm going on, since they ARE UV protected. The pictures and comments are deceiving, because yes, you can see through them when they have light shining through them, but when you put them on your face, no one will be able to see your eyes. They kind of remind me of tinted windows in that you can see through with no problem, but anyone looking in can't see much, if anything. I recommend. I'll post again on durability once I have worn them a few times.

These do not have dark lenses and they are HUGE! I have a very round face and these won't even stay on my face. I'll have to see if I can modify them somehow just to wear them or return them... leaning towards the return since they're not even dark.

The glasses are pretty nice. And for the price of $10 (shipping included) I don't think there's any room to complain about quality. They feel sturdy enough and the lenses seem good quality.However, I may return them, because they are too big. I have an older pair of Aviators which are the same as the measurements shown for these (55x50), but the old ones are significantly smaller. Measurements here say 55mm width, but I measured them at almost 63mm. That's a big difference, and the lenses look and feel pretty huge on my face. So if you're looking for the classic sized teardrop aviators, these may not be for you.On a positive note, though, the lenses are very nice and dark, which is hard to find. That's why I said I MAY return them. I'll wait on it a couple of days and see if I can get used to the size, because it's very hard to find lenses this dark, and it's not like they're $175 Ray Bans, so they don't need to be perfect.So to sum it up:Pros:-great price-good quality (for the price)-dark lensesCons:-much bigger than expected

I bought these as a part of my Dave Strider ( Homestuck ) cosplay and they work awesome. In pictures they appear darker though if you look really closely the lenses are kind of see-through which is not really what I wanted. The frame is great, very sturdy. On the bus home they flew out of my hands and hit the windshield but weren't scratched, chipped, or broken which is impressive to me because my other pair of aviators from forever 21 broke into shards when dropped once. They aren't very dark, again, so not a lot of light is filtered out of them so I don't know if I would recommend them for anything other than a costume though they are supposed to function as actual sunglasses.

These sunglasses are pretty dark and that's definitely their best quality. Dark but not too dark. Also they really do look good. However they're so easy to bend. First day out wearing them I dropped them on the dirt and they were crooked from then on. I really liked them but durablity is a HUGE issue with these sunglasses

This is my second time ordering these sunglasses. As I said in my previous review, the lens quality is extremely dark which is what I like as it prevents people from seeing my eyes. If you look in the mirror, the lens look pitch black. They block a lot of sun light. However, I had to order another pair because one the nose temple plastic pieces fell off. Now I was not that upset about it as the for the price of the sunglasses and the amount of wearing I had put them through, I expected as much. However, the second time ordering them, the shipping was fast as the first time, arriving two days before the anticipated delivery. However, upon unpackaging the sunglasses, the nose temple pieces were bent out of shape. It could not have been because of the shipping as the sunglasses were in a USPS hard cardboard box. So I suspect that when they were put into the box or before, the nose temple pieces were damaged. I had to spend 30 minutes rearranging the pieces so that the sunglasses fit properly on my face.

I love an Aviator sunglass and after having lost or damaged a few designer brands I did what I always do when it comes to making purchase, I researched Amazon for a value purchase. I purchased a single pair of these and was very impressed and ordered two more pair. They definitely feel of cheap quality, but they are durable enough and the lenses are very good. They also have a nice fit and great look. Best of all, if I lose of damage a pair I'm not at all upset or disappointed.

I ordered these for a cosplay I'm working on and I didn't expect them to be the best in the world but when they got here I was surprised. I saw a bunch of bad reveiws saying they were too small but they fit perfectly on my face! Yes they are sort of hard to see out of but that's exactly what I was looking for. I needed really dark lenses. They came three days earlier than expected too so that's a plus.
