They do the job.
Wooden clothes pegs seem as rare as hen's teeth at the moment-I would normally buy them 'in person' so I could see what I was getting. Anyway, these seem fit for purpose- been using them for a few weeks now, they haven't fallen apart, and they are big and strong enough to keep towels on the line.

Disappointed
I've been trying to find new pegs as good as some old ones I still have left, but these are not particularly good. The spring is flimsy and there's no second hole in the wood for the clothes line.I've compared all my pegs and noticed the old good ones just have a thicker stronger spring (on the left in the photo; the Laundry Specialist ones are second from the right: they're bigger and the wood is thicker but they're less efficient).Disappointed.

Sturdy
Nice sturdy pegs . Not tested them in gale force wind yet but think they are ok

Sturdy but too small for heated airers
Really well made and sturdy but they don't open far enough to use on a heated airer, which was the reason I bought them (the heat makes plastic pegs go brittle quickly)

High quality product
This is a very good product, and you cannot beat wooden pegs. The plastic ones I have purchased do not last long but I feel sure that these will last a long time. They are well made and the wood is very well finished off and the spring looks and feels strong. You just do not see these around anymore of this quality. I even purchased an extra set to keep for later when the rest of my plastic pegs give up.

Wood glorious wood!
Trying to reduce my use of plastic for environmental reasons. Great wooden pegs, well made and will most probably outlast plastic ones too Disappointed that Amazon chose to send them in a big plastic envelope though. Come on Amazon, get with it!
