One of the Best Decisions I Made. Withstood 4 Years of College
I have graduated college and have had this backpack with me from day 1 of being a freshman. It has held up spectacularly. I am an athlete and always drink water so I am always using that water bottle holder. After 4 years, the mesh part on the water bottle holder is torn up out of wear and tear but I am beyond surprised it held up this long since I use that every single day and I am constantly took my water bottle out and put it back in that pocket. The bottom of the bag has not been compromised. This bag has been through a LOT! It has literally been thrown around often. Getting thrown into the car for business travels, for away games, every day I chucked it into the car for my commute to campus. It has been through the winter snow falls as I walk 15 minutes across campus. When I have to trek 15 minutes to the other side of campus in the downpour, it keeps all of my papers and books dry. I have a bad habit of not checking the weather. Also, I packed a lot into this bag because some days I had classes all day and then had to go to work so it held my textbooks, notes and clothing. Most of the time, I did not use the larger mesh part. That was always zippered up for me. Sometimes if my schedule would allow me to, I would go to the gym in between classes or work and just throw my gym shoes into that mesh area. It worked perfectly because they would not be inside of the bag stinking up my stuff. Also, I have used it to carry around a size 5 soccer ball for the days where my friends and I had an intramural game. Overall, very versatile and it has been built tough. In the future, I will most certainly buy this exact one in the future. If they stop making this specific one, I will be sure to buy from the same brand.

Great for the outdoors and for on the run.
I bought this bag, solely for the purpose of traveling to Scotland and it was just what I needed. I carried my laptop, extra clothes, and items in this bag for the essentials as a carry on on the airplane and it was amazing. Everything I needed was there. The weight distribution is really good, especially with a bad neck. Most backpacks for me become annoying and it hurts my upper body that I have to put it down, but the clip in the front of the straps helps to relieve the stress. Although, I will say, I wish there was a lower one. I realized that when I went hiking in the hills of Ben Nevis, I carried my laptop and my other items and the bag did slip to the sides when hiking at an angle. Still, it was very good. My laptop was very safe in their too.I dare say that it is waterproof, but only just. I got caught in the rain for quite sometime and I was a bit scared, hoping my items didn't get wet. I ran to safety and waited for the rain to stop and when I checked my items, they were dry. Granted the bag wasn't soaked through, but it wasn't a chance I wasn't going to take, especially with electronic items. It's somewhat waterproof but I wouldn't chance getting it soaked, if you can help it.Perfect bag for traveling and hiking. Lots of little pockets and places to put your items for convenience. Did I mention for runs too? It holds things in their so well when you're on the run.

Love that the size is flexible due to the gusset and straps
This backpack is a good size and has lots of storage. I use it when I travel, I put my purse in the backpack to get through TSA and on the plane with my luggage and my backpack, then pull out my purse. I like the gusset that I can use open or closed based on how much stuff I'm carrying, and the straps can make it smaller if I'm not carrying much stuff. The pockets are the right sizes and in good locations. I wish the mess was removable ( there are no basketballs in my life) but I keep it stored in the pocket that it originates from with my power cords. The pocket at the top is great for sunglasses or travel document when I need quick access to them. I use it for international business travel so I think it looks professional enough to carry to business meetings.

Great Carry-on to hold large laptop and tablet as well as emergency stuff if luggage is lost
It arrived well packaged, in good condition, and on time. I have used this backpack for travel over approximately a month using it on 4 different trips, 1 abroad and 3 stateside. In each it performed well. I would caution though as a carry on, plane carry on capacity dependent, you may find yourself over stuffing it for the size of the carry-on space so be attentive to those planes that have particularly small carry-on cubbies, yes UA commuter flights it is you that I am referring. It is a spacious backpack with several pockets to hold various things, I especially like the tie over on the outside front of the backpack that can hold a soccer ball, football, sizable hat or many other bulky items that may not fit inside. Only downside I have found is that I miss having a handle on the top of the backpack itself as the handle in the straps does not balance the backpack well when carrying it with one hand.

It will fit it all (3 years of ownership)
I have had this backpack since January 2015, almost 3 full years, and only now am I considering replacing it. It has been used and used and used.On a daily basis this is my work bag, I teach at 3 elementary schools and 1 junior high school so I have to pretty much carry everything with me daily including indoor shoes. When I travel, this is either my entire luggage or my carry-on. I have used this for conference travel when I was a presenter. It's expandable when I need it, balanced in the shoulders, and has enough pockets for me to categorise things. I can fit all my electronics in it, it has a snap in key holder, and I can carry a 1 liter water bottle in it. Also, that little zippered pocket up to is such an MVP, it is deceptively large.Overall, I have loved this bag, but now as I can see that it's wearing out I have to get a new one.

... carry while riding my motorcycle and it works out great. It has a luggage strap which works great ...
I ordered this bag to carry while riding my motorcycle and it works out great. It has a luggage strap which works great for slipping over my sissy bar then strapping down and riding like it is an actual bike luggage system. It's also comfortable to ride with it strapped on my with the waist straps and front snap to keep the shoulder straps in place. Excellent travel bag for the money and can easily fit a weekend set of clothes in the bag for those bike weekends.

Best Rucksack ever?...
Brilliant bag for a reasonable price. I was a bit dubious about just how big this bag would be but it's really spacious. I get a laptop & A 4 folder in the back section, a lunchbox , toiletry bag, & pieces of kit, in the middle section & loads more in the front. I can also attach my work boots in the front net section which zips away when not in use & there's loads of handy little sections for car keys & such like. I'm really impressed with it & if like me you just want one bag to transport loads of stuff rather than two or three then this bag is for you. Even though you can keep loads in it , it's still comfortable to use/wear . It's really durable too..

Great value, well-designed, extremely useful product.
Excellent product. Many pockets, so many your right hand won't know where your left hand has put stuff. Some compartments are capacious enough to be able to take a cagoul, or groceries, a melon or whatever takes your fancy. Hasn't got all the ergonomic design and padding of a hillwalker's rucksack, but comes pretty close. Lightweight. Does not contravene airline specifications. Great value for money (someone, somewhere must be being seriously exploited). I ordered one for my partner and, when it arrived, immediately decided to order one for myself. My old computer bag will be going to the charity shop directly. Only niggle: once the bag is at maximum capacity, that collar thing starts cutting in at the top of the shoulders.

I'm so happy!
Finally a bag with decent sized compartments and a strong build for a reasonable price. It also looks really classy and has cute little labels for the purpose of the compartments.Someone said it doesn't have an upper handle to carry it on the tube but actually the main straps have a top part which acts as a handle so it's not entirely true and it doesn't pose a problem. The only (minor!) thing is it has only one water bottle pouch, and I like to have a hot drink on one side and my water on the other, but there's so much space in the backpack it hardly matters! Can't wait to do like, a week's worth of grocery shopping with it.

The net on the back would be good for carrying a basketball as shown in the photo
Solid build, but the zip toggles are metal and they jangle-jangle-jangle... does my head in. But that's just me. The net on the back would be good for carrying a basketball as shown in the photo, but it isn't adjustable so is otherwise useless. A rain cover would have been a much better use of material. The little pocket is a bit strange - it is a bright red "thieves: here's my mobile phone" label. Anyway, I didn't buy it for its headphones hole.Let's end positive though, I did give it 4* after all: my laptop feels very secure and there's easily enough room for a load of books and a change of clothes. Hurrah.

Initial promise. Long term disappointment.
I bought this in January 2018 and was very happy with it. Until 18 months later when it has fallen apart. Completely.I liked this rucksack. My previous one had lasted 17 years and I wanted one with more compartments. This fit the bill. It has three front compartments : one for small items such as keys and a wallet, and two medium ones for - well - stuff. There are two main compartments, one of which has a special area for a laptop. I also really liked the ability to have a mesh net which I could use to carry my fleece in if needed (who carries a basketball like that?). What I thought was a silly idea turned out to be quite useful if only occasionally used when my bag was otherwise full.Upsides. Reasonable number of compartments and lots of areas for storage within those compartments. Material of bag itself is thick - not the thin rucksack material I've seen with cheaper bags.Downsides. 1. Why only one mesh bottle carrier on the sides of the bag? Most bags have one on each side. I could then put a bottle on one side and an umbrella on the other. Seems cheap cost cutting.2. There's a velcro closed internal Laptop compartment in the rear most main compartment. Why is there padding on the floor of the bag under all the other compartments but just not one for the laptop compartment? Every time I put my laptop in, I can hear it bashing on the floor! Lack of attention to detail.3. My main complaint. The way the bag is designed means that the zips come under strain. The zips are quite sturdy; the stitching of the zip to the bag is not. Poorly designed (like several other aspects of the bag). After 18 months of use, this had just come apart. I need a new bag. It's unusable.Shame really. Would not recommend.

Excellent overnight bag
I needed a bag I could use both for my cycle to work as well as the occasional overnight train trip. So I needed space but not too bulky or heavy. This bag is perfect. The pouch for the phone is excellent - I tend to scatter and lose things like reading glasses, keys, & memory stick so this keeps them all in easy reach. Also, the straps are just slithers of fabric so there is some decent protection when carrying a full bag... maybe not robust enough for a long hike but fine for commuting.Overall I'm very happy with it - so far.

Best backpack I’ve owned!
I have used this bag for uni, weekend trips away from home, and taking the shopping home from the supermarket. It has handled every situation extremely well and I would highly recommend it.I have owned this bag and used it almost every day for over a year now and it is still showing no signs of wear and tear, despite being packed to full capacity fairly regularly. I have managed to cram 10kg of food shopping into this bag before! The extendor zip is great for when you need that extra little big of storage. And there are plenty of little compartments and a key holder in the front pocket.Fits my MacBook Air comfortably.Only thing I could think to improve is another drinks holder as there is only one side of the bag with a net for this purpose.

Love it
Bought this because I commute by bike (or train with bike) and then ride straight onto a club (where I’m a leader) and needed a bag that could carry all my kit without the helmet taking up space. There’s no option to leave the helmet on the bike (folding bike plus limited space at work/club/on trains) so it has to stay on or in my bag. This is perfect. Plenty of space for my stuff inside and helmet outside, plus easy access. Would recommend!

Used by my kids as school bags
These rucksacks are well thought out and well built with an eye for design and quality. My two sons have them for their daily school run, and the various compartments help keep everything segregated into easily searchable regions. It is a little more expensive than some of the low-end rucksacks, but the quality of the materials is better so hopefully they will survive the rugged test of two teenage boys!

Fantastic
I’ve been using this every single day for two years. That’s two years bringing it to work every day (the inside holds a cooler bag perfectly for lunch), bringing it on the plane on holiday (two laptops, camera gear, and snacks), bringing it on picnics (the mesh front fits a one-use BBQ perfectly), and after all that it shows only the smallest of wear.I have thrown this bag about every single day and it’s still going strong. When this one finally fails I will be picking up another one.

Lots of space, plenty of comfort, looking good so far...
Great multi-purpose ruck sack. Daily use for the laptop and work needs, but also great for those weekends away when you need to pack the wash bag and the spare underwear. It looks robust enough, but hard to say after a few days use. All the zips and clips seem to be in the right place and functioning well. I have just packed for a few work days away and it has swallowed everything well. so a good start!

Great all round bag
Got this bag for travelling to work on the train a few months ago. Very impressed by it. The material is strong and survives the commute well. The pockets are really generous. Front pocket has plenty of slots for different items. The drinks holder is the perfect size & has a rachet strap round it if your bottle is smaller. The middle pocket expands to a really good size - I've used this for going to the beach or as hand luggage. The back is very comfortable. I carry a lot of weight in the bag most days and its standing the test of time.

Good backpack, strong and solid
Solid backpack, I use it as standdard now. I don't use the "pregnancy" mesh, but it's a good piece all 'round.Only niggle I have is that there's a side pocket for a drink bottle... but only on one side. My last backpack had pockets on both sides... much better design.

Great
I have owned this bag for over 2 years now, nothing has gone wrong, not once.I miss treat this bag day in day out I use it every day, it even travels with me. I throw it on the ground, it gets flung in the back of my car and when I get home I through it to one side, I carry electronics, a laptop and a perfume bottle and some other things and it nothing has ever got damaged. The space is ample and a pocket for everything.I don't think I will ever need to purchase another bag. But of I need one I will get the same.

Great Backpack
Great backpack. The extending ability is really good for when I'm using the bag for longer travel. Really good quality to the backpack and fits all of my daily things in with ease. I do travel with a lot of stuff and like I say this bag handles that fine. Probably not the best bag for a polite metro or tube user as it is bulky. Couldn't recommend enough for someone who is looking for a decent sized bag.
