These are building blocks where in a younger kid could used but I bought it for my 8 year old who uses it as cuisenaire rods to learn mathematics. Please view utube videos to know about these rods.Dedicated cuisenaire rods are available too but those are just as strips and can't be separated but this tool serves for two purposes,the kid could learn as well as separate it and build something too if bored.I have attached pics where in one can view the quality of the plastic, packing etc. seems it was a returned piece and not a fresh piece you can see the plastic used for the packaging.Moreover I felt it was over priced but didn't return it back as my kid was happy with it.....In the long run when my son grows,these blocks could be glued together and converted as a colourful pen stand too...Overall a win win product.....

it is a great math manipultive , can be used in many creative ways...1. sorting of colours2. counting upto to 1003. teaching place value like 10+2 is 124. teaching different types of coding activities.5. making different type of figures6. teaching smaller and greater number with visual presentation7. concept of long or short by measuring different items like a pencil and a eraser can be measured with blocks like how many blocks we need to measure a pencil and how many we need for eraser and tell which is long or short..8.making numbers from 1 to 10 by joining blocks9. making alphabets

So we got this pack today, came in excellent packaging and pretty colorful too. Red, Yellow, orange, blue and green. Colors vary as every customer gets different color combinations, luckily we got very bright cheery colors. All 100pcs intact!! However, it's a bit tight while removing and fixing, I guess with lot of use it should be fine, but the manufacturer could've have made smoother fits. This isn't the original brand unifix, it's a steps to do product, the original unifix is as of now unavailable on Amazon India.
