Like other reviews already posted, I too was both surprised and disappointed by the size of the package arriving on my doorstep. It was even worse when I saw the size of the plastic container box within. I really wondered what I had purchased. Looking at the 2 columns of magnets in the box I thought there was no way there were 40 pieces in it - but there were! However, my fears started to subside when I tried to separate those 2 columns - it was difficult. It was almost as if they were welded together. I then found the guidance about removing a magnet from a column very helpful. After removing one and moving towards the fridge to try it, the magnet literally jumped from my hand and attached itself to the fridge door. I was amazed at the strength. I thought "These things are good". Removing it from the fridge was also a challenge as they don't give up the hold easily. I found sliding to the edge and peeling off was the best approach. So, having tested the strength I proceeded to go to use them for the purpose they were bought. I wanted a means of holding several music sheets to my music stand, but with the requirement to quickly switch sheets as needed. I placed a magnet to the stand - and it fell to the floor. The magnet would not attach itself to my 'metal' stand. But given I had bought a pack of 40 there was thankfully a solution. I attached a magnet to both front and back of the stand. It worked perfectly. The magnet strength was more than enough to hold the sheet in place. See photo. In summary – a great set of small magnets, their size belying their strength. Price is good and delivery was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend.

Very good quality, amazingly strong magnets. I have bought hundreds of these magnets to use as pin backs for magnetic boards. I stick then to cork tops which I attach to pins using the pin posts to place them onto the boards that have been fitted with a magnetic sheet behind the fabric. These magnets are perfect for the craft as they are the perfect size to align with the cork tops and are very thick meaning they are very strong. I have made several pin backs using these magnets and have several different size and weight pins being held by them on a variety of different magnetic boards that contain different metal sheet thickness. Even with a thin piece of magnetic sheet, the magnets are sturdy and strong enough to secure even the heaviest of pins with no shift happening over a very long period of time. They are easily removable between themselves in the stack provided as they are removing from the magnetic board without pulling. Perfect magnets which I have highly recommended to other pin collectors. Very fair priced for the amazing quality.

So, I got a big shock when I opened the package to find these tiny magnets inside! I found the primary photo advertising them to be misleading; it is a close up with no reference object in view, and I assumed they would be bigger, about the size of a euro coin. However, I fully recognise that it was my fault for not checking the details more clearly, as the size was clearly stated. I wasn't too pushed about the actual size though (hence, my disregard for confirming the size ahead of time). So once past my initial surprise, I was delighted to find that they were indeed very strong. Not only to they do the job on the fridge, they are a great source of entertainment and a physics experiment lesson to boot. My kids and I love playing with them, their range is impressive!

I have been looking for some small but reasonably powerful magnets for my home office whiteboard. After reading several review of other products, with shards and chipping I was a little apprehensive about buying any of them! These ones seemed best for my purposes and about the right size. They arrived promptly with Prime, were well packaged and are working a treat. I wasn't sure if they would be large enough - they are approx as large as one of my fingernails. Grateful for other reviewers emphasising following the instructions for taking magnets off the stack. They adhere well and are fairly strong. A small stack of paper or index cards is fine. I also tried (for fun) with corrugated cardboard which was fine, but it didn't quite manage a same-thickness cork-backed coaster. Still plenty strong enough for my purposes. No issues so far, the only reason for 4* not 5* is perhaps specific to my use. The edges are not sharp, but it definitely requires my fingernails to take it off my whiteboard which in my intended use I am doing fairly frequently. For other purposes or projects that would be helpful, so I will settle for calling it a 'feature'.

These are brilliant little magnets. Their uses are endless and once you have them you come up with no end of ideas how to use them. I recently had a tiny leak around a glass roof light on my steal narrowboat. Bit of a nuisance to sort out so simply placed plastic sheet over it and placed the magnets on the plastic and instant water proofing and no leaks. I will remove and reveal at a later date. I have also used them to attach a mesh fly screen to our back door. Simply stuck a magnetic tape around the door frame and the magnets held the fly screen in place - job done. No drilling or screwing into the frame. I could go on but once you have them you’ll wonder why you didn’t have some. They come contained in a little plastic container which is very helpful.

These magnets are amazing! Not only they are well made and finished (nice shiny smooth surface) but they don’t snap or crack like other cheap magnets do. They come very well presented in a clear plastic box that is very handy for storage. I have used a few of them to make needle minders (something like a small magnetic pin cushion). And they work great with needles and pins! These magnets are very strong for their small size, and as can be seen on the photo, one of those little magnets can even hold my Japanese thread scissors upside down! I’m planning on making many more crafts with them. Don’t waste your money on other magnets that might be cheaper... These are both very good quality and price! Highly recommend!

Magnets are super strong and small, so great for use on my office whiteboard. However, I’ve only had them for a couple of hours now, and taking them out of the box and putting them together resulting in a number of them cracking and chips coming off. Feel very cheap as a result and slightly worried about the shards of magnet damaging electronics if they’re not caught. Wouldn’t recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived. I was expecting them to be in a plastic bag but they weren't, they were supplied in a plastic carry box which has a secure clip. The plastic is not brittle which will break after a few opens and shuts. Well done. The magnets themselves are of good quality, to spec (i.e. accurate sizing) and they are very strong, despite their size. These fit brilliantly behind "blank" grid switches which is one of the reasons I ordered them, I can now put my Philips Hue Smart Button (that controls my outside lights) on my switch gang by my front door with the rest of the switches (the switch blank isn't magnetic).
