John Timberland Casa Marseille European Vintage Outdoor Wall Light Bronze French Vintage Sconce Fixture Decor for Exterior House Porch Patio Outside Deck Garage Yard Front Door Garden Home

We purchased these on November 22 and installed on December 28 when we had an unseasonably warm day of 53 degrees. My husband installed the lights and it took a few hours and he said it was relatively easy. He said it would have taken a shorter amount of time had it none been for the bricks. Something about the way the outlet cover was set in the bricks made it difficult to adjust. He is a handy guy so he figured it out. If you are not installing these on a brick surface, it would likely take you an hour or less. We have a salt box style house and no covered porch. Our previous lights were too small. These lights are much bigger and look so much better and are more proportionate to the rest of the house. We purchased red and green 40w equivalent E12 base Bluex bulbs and those looked and worked out great. We now have clear 40w equivalent E12 bulbs we bought from Menards. They are bright and really brighten up the front of the house and the front yard. The style of these lights are perfect for many different home styles. These are gorgeous lights and do not look cheap. They are very bright and look great lit or unlit. I recommend inspecting these immediately upon arrival if you do not plan on installing them within 30 days. One lamp shade was cracked in a few places so I'm glad we inspected them right away to get a replacement. We contacted Lamps Plus (the seller) through Amazon to report an issue and they were very responsive. We ended up getting a replacement shade within two weeks. I'm hoping the finish can withstand the seasons. We live in Wisconsin with a wide variety of temps and get a decent amount of rain and snow. Since we do not have a covered porch and the front of our house faces west, the sun beats on the front for most of the day. I will make an update to this post after the lights have been exposed to a few seasons of hot and cold temps and rain and snow.

Haven't put them up yet, but they look very nice. We are also waiting on lightbulbs that will enhance their look at night. We are having them professionally installed. The size of the lamps are perfect for our house. Can't wait to see them up and running. UPDATE! Now that these have been installed, they are absolutely perfect. Could have probably gone with the next size up, but these work very well with amber 60 watt LED Bulbs!

The light fixtures arrived extremely fast and look absolutely beautiful! They came carefully packaged and extremely well insulated. I ordered three, and one of the glass covers had a hair-line crack in it. I have a hunch it may have been due to careless handling by my delivery courier. Either way, I called the Lamps Plus customer support number on the back of the shipping label. They were very helpful and immediately sent a replacement glass (arrived the next business day free of charge!). I had a few issues getting the fixtures mounted on the house, but that was user error. I would definitely do business with this company again. Great customer service and product quality alike!

These lights are beautiful and gave a beautiful curb appeal to our home. Would absolutely recommend!

Ordered to replace builder-grade coach lights on a 1988 home. Arrived in <10 days (although earlier than expected). Packaged well. Seems to be cast aluminum - solid but light enough for single person install. I had read the reviews about two of the mounting screws being too short before ordering. You'll need some #8-32 x 1 1/4" machine screws (or maybe 1" if your mounting surface is smooth) - available prior to diving in with installation. No issues with gaskets for the hammered glass. Of note, there was a raised brick architectural feature that prevented a flat installation (see pics), so I used a grinder on the base to trim it down to lay flat. I installed GE Relax Candelabra bulbs (4 each unit) 60W equivalent. Although the lamp states 40W max, the LEDs only draw 5.3W/ea, so these are fine (500 lumens each). Another benefit for LED is that they should last a long time, which is good because replacing the bulbs will not be a very fast chore since the top will take SOME extra time to take off (we're talking an extra 1-2 minutes). Overall, I'm VERY pleased with curb appeal effect and warm light from the dimmable bulbs! Attached pic shows contrast with old & new. These are priced much less than some of the large lights I have looked at in brick/mortar light stores. I would not hesitate to order again.

Very appealing. Looks great on the side wall on my front porch. Matches the mail box under it , perfectly. I was concerned with the hammered yellow glass on it. The hammered look is very appealing and the yellow tint is not over done. I don't like the look of seeing the bulbs through the glass of any light fixtures. This one was perfect, the bulbs were visible so slightly. Bonus ------- the weight of it was great, a one person job to reach high up onto the wall to attach it . Had one before this one ( looked nice) but it was a really difficult undertaking putting it up. Also on this new one, putting in the bulbs is so much easier , saves a lot of unnecessary extra difficulty through the years.

Having debated between this lantern and another style we finally choose the Casa Marseille and this iteration of the several options in the design group. We measured the original fixture and looked at the measurements of this lamp. The original lights were hung relatively high so we need a style that had most of the fixture below the mounting point. This one fit the bill. I was concerned that it would look to ornate for our home which is stucco and stone European style. It's perfect! A simple fixture would get lost since they are in the porch area so we needed a fixture with more "presences" in order to show up in its location. Worked perfectly and we both love it. Well-made and feels substantial as opposed to the cheap, tin feeling of so many we looked at. My husband installed them and said the installation was easy. Or would have been had it not been for the stone it was mounted against. Would highly recommend this light. It's just beautiful.

Absolutely stunning lights, even better in person than I thought they would be. My only installation recommendation, is to mount the base first onto the wall you're installing, and then once the wires and base are secure, assemble the rest of the light fixture. Makes for light work and minimizes risk of damage.

These lights were the perfect fit, an attractive addition to our home. Would absolutely recommend! Good quality and well constructed. They were exactly what they looked like in the pictures. There are a large variety of sizes to choose from, and shopping through Amazon made this purchase VERY easy and convenient.
