ProHealth Methyl B-12 Methylcobalamin (1000 mcg, 60 sublingual Tablets) (Vitamin B-12)

The ProHealth B-12 supplement has been great. It is easy to take and affordable. I loke that it doesn't have a nasty taste. Seems pretty effective and dissolves easy.

Given the lack or regulation on supplements I think it is important to make sure you are purchasing from reliable and trustworthy brands. I feel safe using the Prohealth brand because they are made in the USA and theirs-party tested. These particular B12 supplements are sublingual, which can be a better form for absorption, particularly for people with conditions that make gastric digestion difficult. And by the way- those conditions affect huge numbers of people as they include aging, GI surgeries, prescription drugs including Metformin, digestive disorders, regular alcohol use, and much more. I feel like using these supplements is more effective than the ones you swallow for me. It is also very convenient to be able to take them anywhere anytime without having a gloss of water handy. I have used b-12 from many brands, and overall I think these B-12 sublinguals are of good quality and represent a good value for the trustworthiness of the brand. I take these as my b12 run low. I sometimes don’t get to take my vitamins every day so when I do take b12, I want to make it count. Not taking these in the hope of impacting pain, but preventing deficiency. No changes in pain level I can connect to this supplement at this time.

These sublingual tablets contain the most bio-available kind of Vitamin B-12. It's great for treating neurological disorders like Bells Palsey as well as Shingles. I've had both and used this exact form of Vitamin B-12 to speed up the recovery process. Its reassuring that this product is made from clean ingredients and with great care. They dissolve easily under the tongue (sublingual) and taste good. The sublingual B-12 also gives me a little pep in my step which is great! 5 stars for an excellent product that has great value in treating conditions I am susceptible to.

I'm taking this supplement to improve general wellbeing, and specifically reproductive function as I read that Vitamin B-12 is very important for it. ProHealth seems to be a trusted company with a nice website, "About Us" page with actual names behind the brand and a "Contact Us" page with address and phone numbers. For my taste buds these tablets are too sweet with stevia and the flavor is overwhelming, but not completely unusable, I would just prefer more subtle flavor. The price is in line with competitors.

The bottle was sealed, it appears to have been tested in the United States (Los Vegas). I know the brand (ProHealth) claims to be made in the USA but NOWHERE on the label does it say anything about the company or the manufacturing country. Because of this, I knock off 2 stars. The taste is fine, it is not the cheapest in the space, but it's ~ middle of the pack, quality seems okay (the lid was tightly sealed, no moisture)... I cannot speak to the energy level, benefits, of details of the actual pills (that seems to not be allowed) so I will skip discussion of health benefits (they are impressive) and all that. I am not a fan of the use of cellulose nor silicon dioxide. Other than this, they seem to be a decent product at a fair-to-middlin' price.

I only get my vitamins from reputable brands. I like that this is made in the USA under strict requirements and also third party tested. In the past I have used B12 in swallow vitamin form and sometimes they are big and taste awful if you don't get them down in one go. These sublingual are a nice change. They are a bit sweet but that dissipates quickly. Appear to be effective.

The pill tastes well and is actually a pleasant taste, it dissolves completely in my mouth after just a few minutes. As for the health benefits well that is a little more difficult to tell, I for one, do feel a little bit more energy during the day, whoever I can't say for sure that is because I'm taking this supplement or is because some placebo effect, the reality is that I do feel better while taking it so that's why I'm giving it 5 stars.
