Will a cross fit on this necklace?

A jeweler might be able to fit a cross to this necklace, as the clasp and necklace are both large. But if your connecting ring to the cross is big enough, you might be able to slip on the cross.

What is the best way to clean necklace?

I use a polishing cloth made just for silver jewelry. Don’t use any jewelry silver cleaner that has thiourea in it. If you decide to use a liquid cleaner, and don’t like the idea of running your necklace under warm water to rinse and dry it really well, then buff the insides of the links or all those rings… Well, it isn’t going to give it a good look. I store mine in with anti-tarnish inserts and just use a silver jewelry polishing cloth to buff it prior to wearing.
