Rhode Island Novelty Child Pink Cowboy Hat with Blinking Tiara

Its made of a felted-kind-of-paper- like tag-board, or cardboard, so it wont hold up in the rain at all, but its cute, the lights do work, there is a soft sheet of foam paper between the child's head and the electrical component. In short, its exactly as advertised, came appropriately packaged, and I am pleased. It took me a few seconds to figure out which piece of black plastic that sticks out on the electrical component to use to turn on the blinking lights in the tiara, but, hey- its inexpensive and it only took me two tries. Oh, maybe its made of dyed interfacing-type bonded fabric- its rigid enough to hold shape. My little three-year-o;d Princesses will love it. I only wish there had been two in stock when I bought. I ultimately decided on the white child's cowgirl hat with the pink star and trim for the other twin, and that was a fiasco. THAT WHITE HAT fits an adult. Choose this one for a tot!

I love this hat. I bought 2 for two 7 year olds to wear in a talent show. These fit them so well. With the srap tighten, the hat stayed on with they did cartwheels. I have seen other reviews stating the hats smashed when they received them. My hats were Packed well, had great structure and much higher quality than I expected for the price. The lights were bright and easy to turn on and off. The switch was out of the way and neither girl complained that it pushed on their head.

Although this hat is advertised as a child's hat, it fit my normal sized adult head quite easily and was a little big for my young daughter. Nevertheless, she still enjoys wearing it around and doesn't seem to be bothered by the extra room. For the price, it was fairly sturdy (kind of a thick cardboard material), and has surprised me for how well it has held up, even after being passed around at a child's birthday party. The tiara and trim are cute accents. The only downside was the "blinking" lights aren't the white color that seems to be advertised in the picture, but rather a rapidly alternating series of colors that was quite jarring and annoying so we left it off. Overall, we thought it was a great value and perfect for a cowgirl themed party for both kids and adults.

Purchased this for my daughter to wear to the local rodeo. It was a hit. She loves it and so did everyone else. All we heard all night was, "that hat is so cute, did you buy it here? Where did you get it?." Everyone wanted one. Wish I had a few to sell, because they make a killing off selling cowboy hats at the rodeo :0) It is a felt hat, so it won't hold up to major abuse, but sturdy enough for little ones to play with. My daughter loved, loved, loved the light feature. It has a switch inside hat to turn this feature on and off. My daughter is 5 and this hat fit her perfect. It is So worth the $6!!!

For the price, the hat is fine. Fits my 4 year old. It does light up, but I wouldn't look directly at it lest you go blind. It really is bright. I won't need to worry about finding my kid in a dark room. The material is flimsy, but it will hold up to moderate use. Battery life seems good. All the silver trimming on the hat is sloppily hot glued on. It's obviously cheap. The LEDs tend to pop out of their place. The battery pack and switch is stuffed behind a small patch of cloth, and is always falling out.Kids will love it.

This is a chinsy felt hat with sparkley sequens sewed along the rim. HOWEVER for the price this hat is incredible!! My daughter is a huge cowgirl fan so we bought this for her for her birthday not even realizing it had flashing lights. It was like a week after she was wearing it and loving it that we realized about the lights. We definitely got more than we bargained for. If you have ever been to a cowboy shop you would know to get a cowgirl/boy hat for the little ones are at least $30 a peice, and for a little toddler who is not in 4H or does not ride that is way too much. I loved these little hats that when her sister pulled off the tiara we bought 2 more as replacements. I think they are pretty durable for the price, but if you are looking for something more than a felt hat go to a sports store. My little girl is pretty good with her stuff so she hasn't pulled anything off it herself just don't give it to a kid who is destructive because it wont hold up. You just have to remember you only spent $6-8 on it.
