Great buy!
Living in an older home with no central air conditioning, heavy duty fans are a must have during summer. Our previous industrial fan purchased from Lowes was starting to make a horrendous screeching noise so instead of doing what I really wanted, which was to take that MF outside and shoot it, I bought this fan since it’s heavy duty and it oscillates. It was also 50 percent off at the time of purchase so that was a bonus!I can honestly say this fan surprised me with how much air it moves per second, most likely you will not need to turn it on anything past speed 1 because of how powerfulIt is. The noise level honestly is pretty standard in my opinion for the type of fan it is, so I have no buyers remorse and I just purchased two more for other parts of my home.If you are in need of a new fan, do yourself a favor and put this one on the short list, I doubt you will regret it.

Tough Fan, plenty of air flow and steel construction
Great fan for the money. Plenty of air flow and tough steel frame not cheap plastic. I had one of the $50 cheap plastic fans that ran great for about 2 years then pieces started breaking then the motor seized up. Hope to get 5 years out of this one. The fan provides a lot of air flow, but the 3 speeds don't vary the flow significantly. Would be nice if that differential was a little greater. If I ever buy a replacement, I would probably opt for another model since the fan motor does not tilt up and down. You can raise and lower the fan from the pedestal, but tilting feature would provide greater range.

Great and Powerful
Highly recommend this fan. We ordered 2 fans for an outdoor birthday party while the heat in Miami surpassed 100 degrees and these were not only easy to put together but powerful even on the first setting. I’m not sure lifespan outdoors after a certain amount of time but so far so good. I got fan covers to further protect it from outdoor weather (although it will be stored when not in use) to protect it from getting ugly etc. I’ll update my review in a few months but so far I highly recommend it for outdoor use.

Works well, sturdy. Should provide years of good service
I purchased two fans. This one and a 30 inch from a different manufacture. I was afraid this 20 inch wouldn't move enough air. I was wrong, it does well. It's not huge but it does work effectively. It has been sturdy and was easy to assemble. No issues to report. It's the better of the two fans.

No easy way to stop it from oscillating
Shipping box had a few dings and dents but the fan arrived in good condition. Assembly was easy and pretty much self explanatory. Motor seems to run a little hot to the touch but I have been running it basically 24/7 for a couple of weeks now with no problem. The blades seem just a bit out of balance and maybe one day I might try adding little pieces of duck tape to the end of the blades a little at a time to see if I can't reduce the shaking just a bit. The only other thing I can find fault in is if you want to stop the fan from oscillating you have to disconnect the linkage with a screwdriver which is not all that convenient. This fan pushes a lot of air and I can feel the breeze at about 25 to 30 feet away.

Great fan, bad rod
The fan head itself is great, it moves a ton of air which is exactly what I needed. The rest of the fan though, garbage. The rod that connects to the base and supports the fan head on mine is already broken. Took exactly less than 12 hours for it to break. The screw hole on the bottom that you connect to the base with is maybe a 1mm thick. I picked up the fan to move it and that hole stripped right out. I tossed the box, so its not worth dealing with returning it. But right now I have the fan propped against a wall until I can ghetto rig the thing back together with a nutsert or something.Overall though, I would say avoid this fan. The super thin threaded screw hole is a ticking time bomb for everyone.

Air Mover!
I like the fact that this fan "moves some air". Its Lowest speed is usually sufficient, even though it has a medium and high also. Made pretty sturdy, although it does contain plastic parts at key locations...we will see how these hold up over time. It would be nice if it tilted up and down, but unfortunately, it doesn't. Also, not real quiet. Overall, it fits my needs, though.

GREAT SHOP FAN
This fan is great. It doesn't maneuver easily but I put four 3 inch wheels on it and it goes around the shop with no problem. The oscillating feature clears the shop (25 foot x 30 foot) air very well. Being able to adjust up or down helps to put the air where it is needed. Would buy again.
