Very sturdy the images in the assembly instructions could be in better quality but they have a link to watch a video for assembly. You should buy rail lube if you don't already have some as it will keep the serving from becoming frayed and undone. The string that came with it was very lightly waxed that after 2 shots fibers could be seen from the string. So you will want to lube the rail (with rail lube not string wax) and wax the string before first use. It is very comfortable and the sling has a couple of placement options as does the quiver. Great for for a recurve crossbow. I wanted a recurve crossbow as it required much less tuning and maintenance than compound crossbows. While Compound crossbows might outperform this, in the event of a part failure recurve is easier and can easily be repaired in the field with just an extra string and restring tool. Compound bows require a compound bow press, string press, and require to be re-timed/retuned and balanced. For a dependable crossbow this is great for the money in simplicity, power, and accuracy.

The instructions for assembly were a bit hard to understand but I got it done by myself in under an hour. I used blue locktight on screws to keep them from coming lose in the field. It is probably right at the 175 pound draw it claims, and I recommend using the included rope cocking device to tighten the included stringer. It’s lightweight and easy to handle. Center the open sights when assembling to the middle position in case you ever need them in the field (mine were way off center from the factory). Not the best, but good quality for the price- this was my third crossbow from expensive to cheap and this is as about as good as the much more expensive one. I like the recurve because it can be easily restrung in the field if needed.

Poor instructions

I enjoy the heck out of this bow. Simple to put together and once you dial ted dot in, it’s pretty dame accurate. Ive purchased 3. My oldest daughter and my brother. They love it. I myself have a couple larger ones but liking this the best. Great quality!!! Broad tip will drive through a 1/2 sheet of plywood at about 60 feet. Cant go wrong!!!! Delivered on time and pacaged extremly well. Thank you

This is a great beginners product. The directions to put together are very flawed but i was able to get through them in about 2 hours without using the internet. I have never owned, put together, or shot a crossbow before purchasing this item and i still found it to be easy. Shoots true for now as well after around 50 shots. Great buy for the price for any beginner. 6 stars.

The directions to assemble this thing is a joke. We purchased this for my son. He was super excited to have his first cross bow until he took one look at the directions. The step by step instructions are masking clarity. It’s so vague. It come with several screws and multiple Allen wrenches, but it doesn’t tell you which screw goes where or which wrench is needed. The images are grainy and do very little if anything to help. We ended up using YouTube to help us figure out what needed to be done. Maybe if we were first time users, it wouldn’t be a problem but we are and this product’s instructions do little to help or makes us feel confident in the construction of this product. Images included are just the first 3 steps. When it says to use the screws, it doesn’t say which screws, there are at least 4 types to choose from. Good luck

It is very difficult to cock this unit. I can easily push/pull 200+ pounds in the gym, I was not able to cock this junky design at once. I even bought a winch-type loader (with 350 lbs capacity), the crossbow broke it at the first time, as the support hooks are derailing from the support rail, even the manual loader (which was in the package is derailing and do not work). The instruction manuals are so crappy, the pictures are bad quality, some reviewer indicates a link to a youtube video, which is not available (only some shooting advertising video is available). It was a useless $200 for this. I regret my decision to buy this junk. It is a shame for the company, they should test it, or write to the description that for "bodybuilders only". Terrible, terrible terrible...

Bought for my husband the pull back is very simple and the over all structure and quality is great very well worth the price
