Works well and easy to install
The media could not be loaded. Product came with appropriate hardware and install was easy. Product used on a Trex aluminum gate. Time will tell but appears to be solid. The caps to cover the screws are a gloss finish which I don’t love but doesn’t impact function

The self-close feature is wonderful!
They are large, beefy hinges--really sturdy. They're easy to install--instruction are very clear. Adjusting the self-close mechanism with a flat-bladed screwdriver is easy. They're self-lubricating, but they'll eventually need to be re-lubed--use graphite powder only for that [this direction comes from the instruction sheet that comes with the hinges].

Good heavy duty hinges
Replacements for gate hinges on my deck. The previous ones were too small and after a year were allowing the gates to sag and they would not self latch. These appear much better. Will see in a year if the last.

So Far So Good
The hinges work fine but it is too soon (right after purchase) to really evaluate a hinge. We replaced previously installed (approx 15 years ago) gate hinges (same brand and type) with these hinges because one of the prior hinges broke. So they do not last forever. Might be better in metal than heavy duty plastic. But nothing lasts forever.

These hinges are fantastic. Variable closure strength feature is key. Overbuilt and easy to install. Worth the extra cost.

Outstanding fence hinge.
These hinges are well made!They are sturdy and allow for easy installtion.The tension adjustment is very easyto use.There are beauty caps that go over the screws on the hinges that went on easily and look very nice.Excellent installtion intructions also!

They look very sturdy. But not the same as on the website photos
The pictures on the website are for the lighter weight capacity hinge. I was ordering a HD hinges set and when they came I noticed that they have more attachment holes and they will require me to install the hinges in different locations than the older, broken, True Close hinges. They should show you the difference on their web site
