Large format book would make an excellent addition to any collection
Even though I like fashion photography, I usually I don't buy books about specific designers because they often focus on the clothes rather than the photography. But since Rick Owens is one of my favorite designers, I thought I would take a chance on this book, and I'm very glad that I did. This very large book is beautiful in every way. It isn't just a book that shows pieces from Owens' collections, it is a work of art in itself. Most images are the full size of the page and printed in excellent quality. The majority of the photos are in black and white, but that is fine because it fits well with the tone of Owens' artistic vision. Not only are there pictures of his Mens and Womens collections from the past few years, but there are also images from his furniture design and other artistic ventures. A lot of the photographs are avant-garde editorial style, but there are also some standard runway shots. I know runway photography is often boring, but the runway photography in this book is very well done.If I had to guess, I would say that the book is about 90% photos and 10% text. Even the text in the book is very well done, often printed with gold foil or other interesting looks. There are several interviews with Owens, as well as stories and a transcript of an interesting conversation he had with Karl Lagerfeld. In the back of the book, there is an index that says which collection each piece came from, as well as which photographers took the photographs. Some of the photographers include Mikael Jansson, Mariano Vivanco, Craig McDean, Kacper Kasprzyk, Corinne Day, Steven Klein, and Terry Richardson. The index doesn't list the names of the models in the photographs, but some of the female models that I recognized were Kate Moss, Mariacarla Boscono, Sasha Pivovarova, Natasha Poly, and Vlada Roslyakova. There are also quite a few pictures of Rick himself.I highly recommend this book to anybody who likes either fashion photography or Rick Owens' work, and if you like both, then this book is a must-own.

Excellent Quality
This is a large-format book printed on heavy pages with excellent clarity and quality in the images and colors. It is a straightforward exhibition of the looks in single images, which differs from the prior Rick Owens furniture book, which included behind-the-scenes and process images as well.

Breathtaking...
Rick Owens' genius on every page. The design of the book and stunningly austere photographs are a perfect complement to his unique vision.
