Bandai Hobby #17 Gundam AGE-2 Double Bullet "Gundam Age" 1/144 - High Grade Age

It's my second gundam built so far and this one really feels nice to hold!I noticed right away that it had a TONNNNNN of peaces for such a small gundam since well... it is a 144 model.Having all those peaces kinda felt unnecessary but it made it feel all the more special for every peace u put together.I think it took me roughly around 2-3 hours to put together but in the end when u look at it the colors are nice and the pose u can do with the stand are pretty neat!In the end you wont really want to do much to fix up this gundam since it looks nice after the build but one thing i messed up on was one of the joints in the elbow which did not want to go in... leading me to break the joint.BUT i had some superglue handy and it patched up that problem right away.O and in case anyone care i bought the tool kit that i found on here while browsing gundams.It's called "Tamiya 74016 Basic Tool Set " and the little clippers it comes with are amazing for cutting out peaces from the frames that they come in so if u dont have any tools laying around u might want to purchase that too.

I really like the AGE-1 Normal HG, and was hoping for similar engineering here. The AGE-2 DB is (obviously) based on the same frame as other AGE kits, but it felt a little simpler in comparison to the AGE-1 and AGE-FX. If you're up for a bigger challenge, and not concerned about a larger scale, I would recommend the AGE-2 DB Master Grade. Bandai Hobby MG Gundam Age-2 Double Bullet Model Kit, 1/100 Scale

There really isn't much to complain here. For an old kit, the model still poses really well, and the color separation is great, with a little amount of stickers. The only downside is the transformation feels a bit odd but that's more of a preference than it is a flaw. (It also comes with a stand)

This model kit is a very good value for the price. The model itself is fairly easy to assemble, and once built is sturdy and highly poseable. The kit includes a stand for displaying action poses that would be otherwise impossible (a big plus if you want to create a diorama with this figure). The model is made with pre-colored pieces and has stickers for detail colors, so painting the model is almost completely unnecessary. Overall, this is an excellent kit for any Gundam afficionado, expert and novice alike.

I was interested in this model for the great design, and I was not disappointed. I know AGE is not that popular but I really liked the change of pace in the series, and felt some of the Mobile Suit designs are great. Having said that, I was really excited about this model and I even received it an entire day sooner than it was supposed to get here! So I was caught by surprise and was a great way to spend the weekend building instead of waiting for it to come in.

It looked bulkier than I'd figured it would be, but it came with a stand, and the stand has a place to store the hands. All in all, it is a decent kit. and, you can swap the bottom where the sabers are kept with most recent additional thruster packs. Mine is currently posed with the core fighter from the Build Strike, and it looks even more awesome.

この値段でここまで色分けされて、可動範囲も最高、前屈まで出来て尚且つかっこいい!!ひさしぶりにプラモデルを作りましたが、最近のプラモデルはすごいですね(^^)オープニングの左手を開いたキメポーズも、胸パーツを少し削るだけで簡単に再現できます。若干使いづらいですがスタンドも付いてますし、ホントいプラモデルです(^_^)僕が作った物は胸と腰をつなぐ部分が緩かったですが、ランナーの入っていた袋を切り取って被せるだけでちょうどいい堅さになりました。同じような方がいましたら、やってみてください(^_^)v

改造のために使った。

基本的には非常に良く出来たキットだと思いますが、どうにも膝関節部品と前脚との「スキマ」だけが気になりました。変形する際、膝が逆に曲がる格好になりますので、その性で、こんなことになってるのだと思うのですが、メカ的に、ここに隙間ができるのは納得できなくて…この1点だけ、非常に残念でした。

小学生5年生の息子にプレゼント　2日で作ってしまいました。接着剤もいらないし色もはじめからついている。可動領域も広いし、自分の幼少時のプラモデルとは全く別物のようです。古い人間になったと実感しました。
