HEMIncense Variety Set: Forest Balsam Cedar Pine Sandal 5 x 20, 100 Sticks

i used this for the garage where the cat sandbox is, sometimes it can get a bit stinky and my hubby hates that so when i notice the smell, i clean the box thoroughly and burn a couple of sticks of incense to rid the air of any lingering smell. like the variety too. will order from here again when it is time.

So many of the incense scents are either too floral or sweet. I prefer a wood scent that reminds me of being outdoors at a campsite. It's not intense; just enough to give you the fragrance of particular wood scents.

I bought this set because I wanted to expand beyond my usual sandalwood. All varieties of the incense smelled fine, with the exception of balsam. Not sure what was up with that, but it smelled like burning plywood: very acrid and nasty.

These are good quality. I'm not a huge fan of the perfumey ones but these aren't perfumey. They smell all natural when burning not like fabreez. If you like Nag Champa you'll like these. My wife loved them and she is really picky about her incense. She tested each one and rates them with hearts. If it doesn't get a heart I might as well throw it away. This would be a good gift for anybody who likes the smell of fire going in the fireplace.

Did not stay lit. Must have gotten damp. They all smell the same. I burn incense every morning. And these are actually not my norm. Will not be buying again. I would say thank you, but not a good product.

As mentioned in my review for another stick set purchased at the same, these are much more to my liking. I love the pine and forest the best out of this set. Like I mentioned before on another review, I do recommend burning these incense in a room other than the one you will be sitting in to reduce the strength of the scent so that it isn't overpowering. I recommend this set for the value and amount received for the price.

I like HEM brand incense in general, they are strongly scented and they have a wide variety of scents. They do have some issues, for example I have a 8 stick Opium scent that the first stick I burnt smelled great, two other sticks I tried after had a STRONG overtone of burning hair...Not too sure about that.Anyway, as far as this set goes they all smell nice in the packs, I've only burned the Cedar and Sandal so far and they are not bad. The Ceda r is also not great either, smells like a Cedar chest in the pack but when burning it has a bit of a "soapy" undertone. Overall I like it but I had to put it out 1/2 way because it became a bit too strong for my sealed 12' x 12' room. The Sandal was also nice, but with the same "too strong" issue.I have yet to try the Balsam & Forest and unfortunately I will never be able to try the Pine as it was not included in the set. Instead a GR brand Palo Santo was in it's place...I have this already and it's more of a perfume scent and not "woody" I like it, but would have wanted the Pine since it was the main scent I was looking for.Update: I've just burned the Balsam, I don't dislike it but it's not what I expected. It smells strongly of Baby powder, like a very slightly woody baby powder. It's a nice mellow fragrance but not as woody as I wanted. but I have no experience with any other Balsam incense, maybe they all have a baby powder overtone?Update: I've tried the Forest. It is by far my favorite of the set. It is much more earthy & woody than the others. Still a bit more perfume than wood like but very nice. It has a scent very close to Polo cologne (green) that has had a hint of Aramis cologne added.

I thought my package went missing but I got it in he mail , Thank You. I haven't tried them all as yet, but so far I like Forest , Balsam and the cedar, the incense burns clean not harsh and smoky and the ones I tried are lovely. will buy again
