Great tape and strong adhesive.
This is the same kind of tape my Physical Therapist uses. They recommended me to buy some of my own. I am allergic to some adhesives. I cannot wear a regular bandaid without it making me get a rash where it touches the skin. The cover-roll does a great job to protect my skin from the harsh adhesive on the Leukotape. The cover-roll tape is a white tape that has a little bit of stretch to it. There isn't a ton, but there is some give. The adhesive is strong enough to last 5 days without coming off. I actually have also been using this to cut into smaller pieces to place under my regular bandaids so I don't have to suffer a rash when using them. Works great! The Leukotape is skin colored and works very well. You are able to pull this pretty tight without it getting distorted. It doesn't have any stretch to it, but I don't think you need the stretch. The adhesive on this is very strong. If you happy to extend the tape a little past the white cover-all, this will be painful to remove and it leaves a lot of adhesive (looks black and gross) behind. So I recommend trying to make sure to cut off the excess so it doesn't go over the cover-all. Since I'm allergic to adhesive, it also irritates my skin and pulls some of the top layer of skin off, when I pull it off. So be careful. Both work great together. They help hold my kneecap in place. You can wear this for 5 days with no issues. Overall I'm very happy. I would like to note that I have used KT tape before as well. This is not the same. KT tape IS flexible. This cannot be pulled and stretched the same. Just so you know the main difference between the two.

Leukotape Worked Phenomenally for my Lateral Patellar Tracking
Boy howdy, there's a story behind this tape. I was training for my second half marathon when I began to experience immense knee, hip, and groin pain. I rested and iced for a week before resuming training runs. When the pain got worse, I saw a sports doctor who told me my knees track laterally to the outside when I bend them, which is not such a great thing. The reason for this is that my hamstrings were stronger than my quadriceps. I had been training with neutral running shoes, which do nothing to alleviate this problem and, as such, strained my quads. I immediately bought stability running shoes and started using KT tape. KT tape is great, but definitely not for this injury. My PT friend highly recommended using this leukotape to glide my kneecaps over and tape them in position. Along with my new running shoes, this taping method immediately relieved my knee pain!Leukotape is extremely firm and, without cover roll tape underneath, will rip off skin (it did for me!). Nonetheless, with proper taping, leukotape held my knee in the position I wanted it to for the entirety of my runs (which included the half marathon itself!). This is the best deal around as you get both leukotape and cover roll for a package deal at an extremely affordable price! Each product alone costs almost as much for just a few more yards of each. In sum, I recommend this product for anyone looking for leukotape for sports injuries. Make sure you know how to use it though...as an ill-informed taping may do you more harm (I watched lots of tutorial videos and received great advice from my PT friend on how to tape for my injury).

German ingenuity- try it! Could save a trip or a life.
Great stuff! Apparently there is a trick to just wrap a bit of the stuff around like a pencil or whatever. To cut weight on a trip I had to just cut down the roll and throw most away, as it is slightly weighty. This product was recommended by a longtime hiker, and as a traveller I used when I had blisters. Blisters will ruin a trip! This was a good dual pack because I could use after I already had blisters by using the white wrap as a first layer on the blister, then secure that with the leukotape. It really does work somehow to reduce friction and blisters. Also pretty good general purpose tape. Buy it!

It worked reasonably well
Overall it worked, but it didn't seem much better than duck tape.Ordered this for first aid and blister covering when hiking. The tape works reasonably well. Not sure it seems much more effective than standard duck tape. There is also a role of covering tape in this box. So one box of tape and one box of covering tape. The covering tape wasn't much use for our purposes, maybe it would be more useful for medical people.

A good physical therapy helper
My physical therapist taught me how to use this to temporarily stabilize my kneecaps when my injured knees were weak. (I also had exercises to build up the supporting muscles around my knees, of course. The taping is meant to be a short-term "crutch" while you recover. It cannot be worn everyday either. Your skin needs air and a rest from the adhesives.) The brown Leuco tape is used OVER the non-irritating white Cover tape. Do not let even the edges of the brown tape touch your skin directly - the adhesive is harsh and way too strong for skin. The Leuco is a strapping tape - sturdy, supportive and non-stretchy. It is essentially a kind of flexible, external "splint". You need an expert to show you how to use these tapes correctly for your particular needs. Otherwise, it will be a waste of expensive tape!Don't tape over irritated skin. And don't stretch the white Cover tape as you apply it. That will irritate your skin. The stretch capability of the white tape is meant for AFTER it is applied, - so you can move more freely. The brown strapping tape does NOT stretch -it stabilizes. The whole technique really requires an expert to show you the proper method. You cannot just slap on some tape.I looked around in stores to see if other, cheaper "sports" tapes might be just as good. But, no - these are the best. They really work. I bought a combo pack of the two kinds of tape (brown Leuco sports tape and white Cover gauze tape.) I also bought an extra roll of the BSN white Cover tape, since you end up using more of that, and it is also useful for other bandage/pad-holding purposes.
