Very easy to use.
This was very easy to put together. Easy to move your quilt around. Love this. Was a reasonable price. One that fit my budget and needs.

Easy to assemble
Easy to put together and works just like it shows. It works fine but isn't super sturdy and you need to realign and tighten all the parts occasionally. Otherwise it is a great, large hoop and stand.

is quite…oval…
It is serving its purpose, but I underestimated how deep of an oval shape the working hoop is. If you aren’t working on something that is several inches wider than the dimensions (like me), it might not be the one for you. I’ve never used a standing hoop before, so maybe they all are like this, but it’s a little wobbly. Tension is fine technically, though even after wiping it down it’s left dust on quilts.

Great for large projects
Despite the instructions not being the most clear set up was quick and easy. I like that I can take it apart and put it back together and I travel a lot. It holds my project with a really nice tension. I also like that I can angle the hoop to check the back side of my work and make stitching more comfortable.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this hoop and frame!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this quilting frame. I have tried so many many different kinds and have been disappointed in everyone (well, except the one my dad made for me back in 1978). I am currently working on a king size, all flannel quilt and it is so easy to move the quilt to the next section. I do use a big tub to put the part of the quilt I'm not working on in and when I'm not working, I fold the sides on top of the hoop. Yes, it could be sturdier, but then it would also be heavier.

Works for Me
It's not a BMW, but it isn't priced that way, either. It's perfectly fine for my needs. (Maybe I should have given it 5 stars?) I understand why some reviewers were disappointed that it doesn't swivel as much as one might like without the screws coming loose. Now that I know it's tilt limits, I have no issue. I'm using it for a queen size quilt (i.e., lots of fabric). Even though the stand is light weight, for a heavy task, I can adjust it well enough to put my feet on the cross bar at the bottom of the legs so the set up is very stable. I'm completely comfortable with this hoop.
