WORKED FAR BETTER THAN EXPECTED. I AM STILL AMAZED BY THE RESULTS.
I have two Morris chairs and an ottoman with leather cushions; thick and natural rustic leather. Living in Boulder, humidity is generally low year around. I sort of cared for the leather for the first two years I owned the furniture, which we use every day. That was almost twenty years ago now. The leather has dried out and had acquired the expected scratches, scuffs and water stains over eighteen years of neglect. I purchased a bottle of Leather Rescue Leather Conditioner and Restorer with low expectations, having all but given up on the leather. I started with the ottoman, cleaning it first. It was also the worst of the leather. I was blown away by the change. The leather just kept soaking up the Leather Rescue Leather Conditioner and Restorer, getting better with each application. Scuffs and scratches that penetrated the leather surface are still there of course, but the lighter scuffs and the water stains have all disappeared. The leather is back to the color it was when new, albeit with some added texture and contrast due to use and age. It looks lustrous and silky. It feels smooth and alive. Two weeks later and it still looks and feels great with no noticeable fade-back at all. I used half a bottle on just the ottoman, but I'm confident much less will be required for maintenance. This is an amazing product that's also easy to use. I applied it with a new sponge, which worked great. I bought four more bottles to finish the job on the chairs. I've never had any leather conditioner product work like this one. Hope they're still making it twenty years from now.

This stuff is remarkable. I wish I had found it sooner.
I wish I had taken before and after pictures! I used this first a large dark brown leather chair that is around 15 years old. I have used other products in the chair over the years but never had these results. This really made the chair pop. The seat was showing a little bit of wear and this product did not completely remove it but really was a huge improvement. I think had I discovered this sooner I could have prevented the wear from ever appearing. Next I used it on my 20 year old rust colored sofa that has been through little kids, teenagers, a messy family and multiple cats. (I had to have the seats cushions recovered with fabric a few years ago because I refuse the buy a new sofa until these people are gone) this sofa will be going as soon as my college age child has an unfinished apartment to accommodate it because itโs her favorite place to sleep. I was really impressed with how well it shined up the old leather. There are still some pretty worn areas on the arms but I plan to saturate it with this stuff on another day after this first does has had time to soak todayโs application. It really helped improve the look of the leather. I only used about 1/2 inch of the product from the bottle and had amazing results. I rubbed it on with a soft cloth, allowed it to soak in for about an hour and then wiped it down with another soft cloth. It does have a smell but it isnโt strong or overwhelming in my opinion. I really believe if I had been using this from when this furniture was new I would never after to get rid of it.

The leather seats on my sports car are in great condition -- no scuffs or tears -- but the leather is very stiff and dry in a few areas, especially on the passenger seat (which sadly has not seen much use). So I suspect the previous owner(s) did not condition the leather. I bought this leather rescue conditioner based on the positive reviews, hoping to restore the seats to a more supple condition. After the first treatment I noticed a definite improvement although the leather is still a bit hard in places. I gave it a couple weeks for the conditioner to permeate before applying a second treatment, which yielded even more results. It's only been a week since the 2nd treatment and I suspect the condition will continue to improve with time. I do know that leather gets soft with continued use, which is why the leather on the passenger seat was so stiff, the seat just hasn't been used much. So the results for the product are good. I like it and recommend it.

A wonder product
Worked a miracle on my old motorcycle seat, it got left where the sun could shine on it inside my shop for at least a year, it was all dried out hadn't split any seams yet but was really close to it, gently washed off the seat and let it dry as per instructions and then applied a generous dose to the seat, it drank up all of the first application in no time so I gave it another, but I already noticed an improvement in the way it felt under my hand, it was getting softer and looked brighter, any after the 4th application it looks almost brand new, it's soft and feels nice to the touch, the color has came back even though it is black it now has some sheen to it, and no more worry's about popping a seam. I highly recommend this product. Update, Ordered another bottle, this stuff is the best, after sitting all winter my motorcycle seat had lost all the luster it had before it went in for the winter but just one application of this and it came right back, I think before next winter I'm going to give a good treatment and see how it looks come riding season again. Will keep updating.

Had no effect on my hardened Car Leather, was hoping for a miracle
I am sure it is a fins product, light in consistancy than others, and as others have noted, penetrates open cell leather surfaces. This was my experience also, with this product and others. My experience with car seats though, like mine, is that some Automotive leather seats have a much heavier 'finish', I think in an attempt to make them more durable. Unfortunately topical products don't do much, not being able to penetrate the hard or hardened top coat (like mine), for it is the hard top coat/colorant that has dried, hardened and shunk and this, or any product, has no effect on it. I bought this product hoping for a Miracle! that did not happen. I have seen that some refinishers of car leather actually scuff or sand the old finish to make it more accepting to a new finish. So, for my old seats, I uses a Scotch Pad to apply the product in an attempt to lightly scuff the hard top coat. But, it was to no avail. I think only a pro refinishing would get off the hardened top coat of my seats, and probably yours as well
